And they might fuck up a lot of trials in this district... based on their performance in this trial, it wouldn't be surprising at all.

I'm speaking more generally about prosecutors. These guys in Sanford might be fuckups, no doubt.

I'm sure there are plenty like you stated that have a high rate. Others bring it down. In reading it seems like a lot of the info is shrouded.

It seems like most states vary what they factor into their conviction rate as well. Pleas count in some places and ot others I. Reported stats.

That said, yes it looks like Florida 18th where this takes place is one of the shittiest districts in the us.

According to this website,http://blog.richardhornsby.com/2013/...ury-look-like/, Seminole County has a 93% conviction rate and Angela Corey the special prosecutor who filed the charges has a 96% conviction rate, the highest in the state of Florida.

That rate is the percentage of cases taking a guilty Plea, if you drive into their links you see that includes no jury trials.

I hope the town of sanford is preparing for this verdict. They need to call in the natl guard and give a heads up that looters WILL be shot. if i lived there I would have purchased 2 handguns and a shotgun by now

I hear ya, last time I was in mexico a storm popped up out of nowhere. It was like a mini hurricane, people were running for cover, but not me. Here I am the only person standing on kulkulan rd enjoying a good drenching after it had been so sweltering hot and muggy.

random note: if you wear a hoodie in fl when its not one of the four days its cold, you are dumb. You also don't wear hoodies for the rain... They are cloth/fleece etc and would get soaked and make it worse and are anything but a fast dry material.
