Surely people that have been out on the road for such a long time would have thought somewhere down the line of something as simple as say a bikers leathers to make themselves nigh on invulnerable to Zombie attack instead of wearing skimpy "come bite me" t-shirts etc.

Anyone who gets killed by Zombies in twd is pretty much a Darwin award nominee. They're slow as shit, you could walk at a normal pace and outrun one as they often do but they continually make schoolboy errors like going into pitch black rooms without in any way investigating their surroundings, making sure the area is clear or making any real attempt to get some real light sources.

Eugene is obviously the smartest guy on the team because he's the only person that twigged you can drive along really slowly making a ton of noise attracting all the zombies attention while your buddies go about their business in peace behind them.

The people from Alexandria are hilarious "Oh she fell over 30 feet away from some zombies, I guess she's dead, sorry!". The way the zombies are in this show there is no way they would be in the position they are. How would the military not be able to clean these up in a matter of days.

If they met the Zombies from WWZ they would be fucked immediately.

don't know why but it is such a common zombie trope to have people going sleeveless. fairly certain walkers could bite through leather at this point plus thier fingers are apparently sharp as daggers when it comes to ripping people open. .

try ripping through thick cowhide leather. even with a knife you wont get very far. i think the roman army had only boiled leather armor and that shit stopped arrows.

Ya, I never totally bought the slow derp zombies being an unmanageable threat. However, I suppose it is possible sorta:

1) Everyone who dies turns into a zombie. Since this wasn't common knowledge and most people associated zombie bite with becoming a zombie, it would be a difficult thing to manage.
2) Humans being derp. People always fuck quarantine shit up. I mean hell, just look at the recent Ebola outbreak. You also probably have people like Hershell who just think they are sick/etc.

The key thing with slow zombies is they have to reach a critical mass to become a threat.

You're forgetting TWD zombies have a stealth ability on like an instant refresh and are smart enough to not start GRAWRing while stealthed.

Unless you're actively reading the source it isn't that huge a deal. At the moment much of the cast consists of characters either wildly different than their comic book counterparts, completely made up or should be dead. There is really only one iconic death (maybe three) that I wonder if they'll puss out on or not. The three I'm thinking of are:

Glenn, obviously
Abraham
That chick Rick's hitting on

Well that isn't how anything happened in the comics at all. Sure it gets corrected next week in the 90 minute Wolves episode but still bullshit drama to just have a episode.

i wasnt impressed, too much farting around with not much happening. we have seen rick lose his shit before, the man isnt exactly a rock of stability. michone clonking him one was however unexpected. still nothing awesome

It is even worse for people who know the comics since it was all mostly bullshit and mirrors to get to the same point after the attack next week.
Will spoiler next part simply for next week speculations but most of it isn't really spoiler since show went a different route of comics
I guess it isn't a spoiler since they didn't go that route but in the comics she knew Gabriel was basically full of shit and gave Rick permission to kill Pete instead of the we don't kill people bullshit.
So now Rick does look like satan and the bad guy but next week we meet the Wolves or rather I am pretty sure "the scavengers" from comics which are outcasted people of Alexandria.
Instead of following the comic line where Rick was basically made leader due to how fucking stupid the people of this safe zone are and how obvious this group was better ( They did make Abraham lead builder in comics as well ) they inserted all the bad guy drama you saw tonight.
Only to next week have all the Alexandria rejects attack the town and prove Rick right. After Rick's group slaughters them next week( along with town personal and probably 1-2 of Rick's group ) they make Rick leader again.

In the comics the scavengers is lead by a man named Derek whom is killed by Andrea( Sasha now in the comics or Carol ).
They killed a Alexandrian named Scott. This could be a TV ending wtf where they actually do kill Daryl since Eric and Tara are both injured. Unlikely Aaron. Could also be chickenshit dick Nickolas but I doubt that would create enough drama.
Regardless someone dies and they always try to one up season so I hope they do fry Daryl just for the 6 months of social media drama.

daryl seems to have been given the most ill fitted job ever. public relations. if they do kill him off it would be a mercy killing especially after losing his little blond chippy

Many are thinking mystery guest is someone who dies from Alexandria, I think it will be whoever the leader of the scaven err the wolves was.
Filming spoilers claim no major season 1/2 deaths in filming BUT they added 30 minutes to the episode while filming for promos for the summer/season 6.
I'm thinking they filmed a episode with the main film crew/cast then pulled in select people ( remember filming ended months ago for this season ) for a special filming of the real end of the season to avoid spoilers.

Then again maybe they didn't go that effort and porchdick and motherdick die and I have my hopes set way to high.

Also not spoiler. Is it sad I found next week's preview with Carol better than anything in tonight's episode?

They're getting over the top with the "dramatic" music-sounds every fucking scene, most of the time with characters are literally not doing anything but standing or walking aimlessly.

Every time I hear those scenes I think back to Monty Python where you had the dramatic music/sounds watching dirt or whatever it was. I'll have to dig up a video sometime.
