It's the "Rick is going mental" music that used to be part of the Governor's theme.
Anyway, I'll be disappointed if Deanna is actually just being dumb and isn't just trying to keep her people naive and happy for as long as she can while knowing damn well that Rick is right and also that the coward guy is lying his ass off. They already set it up where she'll kick curly hair out for being a lying pussbag and he'll whip out his sweet biscuit and kill someone important or just black. She clearly trusts Glenn.
Hopefully it isn't left up completely to deus ex Wolves to wipe it all away. I'd rather have her admit to Rick that he's right "even when he's wrong" as Carol put it before the shit hits the fan. (I liked that line) Just because, goddamn, EVERY character doesn't have to be a coward and/or moron.
Besides, they could have easily come to an understanding over Drunk Cary Elwes. "banishment" - for about 50 feet, then a bullet to the back of the head. Once he's outside the walls, what happens to him is up to Rick. Sounds like a reasonable compromise to me. Who knows, he may even have decided not to shoot him.
But oh well, I really should have learned to just wait and watch. I'm too spoiled by binge watching shows after they are over.
