I'm just up to Ep 3 so far... this is again sooo hard to watch. Ninja zombies sneaking up on alert people all the fucking time. All the fucking time.

It wasn't.. it was on a slope and rolled back a good 50 feet.

I thought this episode was great, it was actually funny. Jesus screwing them over so many times was just hilarious for some reason.
At one point during the Benny Hill scene it was not on the slope. Rick backs it up a long fucking way to the slope. For no reason. Retarded.

Leaving the 300 was retarded and I immediately knew they would get stranded. Lol so bad. By the way Jesus must have been a fucking magician in his past life.
How did he go from being untied, to getting on top of the roof, when they were driving down the road full speed?

Rick did get in the truck and sit there a bit for no reason before even starting the truck. But, even so, the answer to your question is the same answer it always is with this show.

He was getting it further away from Jesus and closer to the zombies so he could take care of them. No one would expect that someone would get in and accidentally knock it of park and then park it somewhere accordingly. This show certainly has it's times where they do dumb things, but I think once you assume everything is a certain way, you start seeing situations that aren't even dumb. Accidents happen, it was an accident. If a car, parked in a sloped driveway, somehow slipped out of park and rammed into another car on the street, you wouldn't be asking why it wasn't parked sideways, or had a block behind the wheel to stop it from rolling. You can't plan for every accident that might happen. From Rick's perspective, the idea they'd get into the truck and wrestle around to knock it out of park never entered his mind, and that is perfectly reasonable.

The whole sequence was meant to be funny, the Jesus character never comes across as threatening in any way. You never feel that Rick or Daryl are in any real danger for their lives, just inconvenienced heavily.

Pretty sure this is their attitude.

Has anyone here ever dug a grave? I was thinking this when i watched LOST, too, but these fucking people dig a lot of graves. It seems fast too.

I've dug some holes before, and the shit was exhausting. Like, just making a 2 foot cube and I'm ready to say fuck it. Does the ground get softer as you get deeper?

Depends on the ground. The guy didn't seem to bury his mom so much as just cover her with dirt.

They buried her next to a tree, too. You know there would be a ton of roots and crap making it hard to dig.

I'm making progress. My wife is open to discussion about stopping watching this show. Its slow progress boys. I may be out. The only downside is I fold my laundry during this show because you don't have to pay attention. I'll need a new laundry folding show.

Don't stop watching it. Once the little lady realizes the show is bad it opens up a whole new experience laughing at it. Mine used to get pissed when I pointed out even minor niggles, but now she's usually the one to start pointing shit out. Like last episode she yelled something like "don't leave the car behind you dumb idiots!" Once she fully came to accept the show is terrible it became fun again for us.
