have they ever explained how two years of food rationing, half the chicks in Woodthing are still morbidly obese?

Did they start out as human elephants?

and why is Maggie suddenly talking with a scottish accent?

I read on another TWD discussion that they left the car because they used its battery to get the truck started. While the whole leaving the car thing did not bother me as much as it probably should, I don't remember that even being brought up in the show directly.

Don't stop watching it. Once the little lady realizes the show is bad it opens up a whole new experience laughing at it. Mine used to get pissed when I pointed out even minor niggles, but now she's usually the one to start pointing shit out. Like last episode she yelled something like "don't leave the car behind you dumb idiots!" Once she fully came to accept the show is terrible it became fun again for us.
She knows its bad. Everyone should know its bad. I don't get enjoyment out of watching shit.

Jesus guy does intrigue me, the whole episode was one giant facepalm though.

And even though the end of the world has happened, Rick seems to find no issue getting laid....which, good for him.

Since they don't appear to really need to work at anything since they live in pre-built housing, have no real jobs, and raid/steal food, seems like you'd be bored out of your mind and probably plowing all available pussy.

Question is, since they went out of their way to show Rick and Michonne hooking up, are they going to have her get pregnant now?

Is the group going to be 12 adults and 3 of Rick's kids going forward? Haha.

This show is starting to get old. I'm not sure how much more of these inconsistencies I can take. Between zombies being able to chew threw anything with their rotted out teeth or slopping on zombie guts to engage stealth mode like it's only allowed once every three seasons. So much of this show pisses me off with its bullshit writing and repeated storyline. Of course I could be the only one who feels this way but I don't see myself watching the show anymore after this season.
What pisses me off at this point is how they handle death.

If a character is clearly in danger and his struggle is the focus, he will never die anymore. Girl with the rifle climbing up the ladder in s08? No way she's gonna die. Glenns non-death? Same thing, a lot more stupid.
Carol falling down on the run, like all the other muppets? She's fine, and plot armor even protected her ankle, apparently the frailest part of the human body. Damn, got up with the wrong foot, now my ankle's busted. Oh tied my shoe too tight. Broke my ankle.

This basically removes all the suspension from these scenes. I know they're going to make it.

If characters die, it's either ninja zombies taking a guard dog speed bite with perfect accuracy (a stealth only ability the zombie can't do if on camera), or bites off camera. The writers are apparently trying to establish an atmosphere where you think no character is safe, ever, because that works so well on GoT, but they really fuck it up. Martell would not have lost to the Mountain in GoT. Renly wouldn't have died to the phantom thing if the writers of TWD had written it. Instead, an assassin would suddenly appear from under the table and stabbed him in the face. Including a previous shot of either the assassin being clearly visible under the table for anyone but the knights in the room. Or a shot without anyone hiding under the table

If they had actually killed Glenn in a no way out situation following a 2-3 minute scene of him struggling to get out, all these other struggle scenes would have meaning again.

Kirkman explained in talking dead that it runs the risk of diseases after continued use and is impractical because you have to reapply often because the smell fades, guts dry out and washes away easy from rain.
So the guy basically does have some sort of common sense. That's a surprise.

This show title is wrong, should be called the tripping living.
The amount of facepalms i did for every character falling down over slippy grass during the first few minutes nearly gave me a concussion.
I wonder if an actor were to take a dive during a shot without it being in the script if they just kept going and used it anyways. If they even notice.

It's not ninja zombies.. it's that all the main characters are going deaf from firing guns off near their face without earplugs so many times. So, they don't hear zombies shuffling around behind them.

They even flash to a guy who has advanced spear making training. Maybe someone from Alexandria can apprentice with him.

Anyone and I mean anyone can learn to blacksmith with a single book. It isn't like it is a secret dark art and the hardest part used to be obtaining minerals which litter our shit world all over now. So ya of all the shit to whine about that is about the least for this episode. I expected to see more about the focus on Glenn and Abraham. Obvious screen love romance for the deaths coming down the line.

You people should be excited. This is the good part of the comics and hopefully the series where you get to see new people, blow up new bases. Things are about to turn into a slaughter shit show. You guys will love it!

cant wait to watch and see how it unfolds a year from now. i hear next week is a 38 minute time lapse of a tomato plant growing then a 3.9 minute dramatic slow motion scene of 8 people transporting trade goods in the least petrol efficient vehicle available with a riveting sound track leading up to one of those flashes of a rattling zombie face popping up on the screen with obnoxious loud noises and screaming. im gonna make appetizers with slices of things that arent nachos and call them nachos and invite all my friends over to eat them.

also its the zombie apocalypse... nobody knows how to fucking blacksmith and theres no amazon prime to order blacksmithing books from. a quick google search shows theres 5000 men and women in the Artists Blacksmith Association of America and another 20-30k jerks who dabble in a hobby that stems from taking fantasy stories a little bit too seriously.

Every damn library on the world would have such a book, and most every town has one. Some multiples with community colleges and universities. You build a furnace which any person can do with like 3 pictures from a book. Make a hot ass fire. Melt shit down and pour it into a mold easily made and cool. Don't need to make titanium here but it is far from rocket science. Working that damn lumber mill saw they had would require more skill, and not kill yourself doing it. That is where I'd be interested in knowing who works.

Also the comics place Hilltop initially as 200 people. Why did it feel it had 20?
