Yes, they strike where the rockets are coming from. Unfortunately, because Hamas shoots the rockets from next to houses, puts tunnels under civilian buildings, attacking those results in casualties. You know, the human shields we were talking about. Were you not paying attention?

Israel builds bomb shelters for their civilians, Hamas should try spending more time building those instead of tunnels for attacks.

He fails or refuses to recognize the difference between discriminate and indiscriminate violence. That's a justifiable moral position. Just not a terribly practical one. It's not one that the organization he's defending happens to share.

If the palestinians would legitimately stop attacking and go full-Ghandi mode, the Israelis would have no choice but to treat them humanely on the world stage and eventually recognize them. The Palis are too dumb to do that.

Yep, full-Ghandi mode would instantly force the Israeli's to deal with them humanely. No doubt about it. Their public would not stand for anything that remotely looked like "jack boot" tactics for long against something like that.

Now imagine the reverse, the Israeli's tried ghandi-like tactics against the Palestinians. Say goodbye to the jews.

This is the best analysis of civilian casualties on the Hamas side to date that I've found. Hamas controls the death statistics, and civilian casualties helps their cause, so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt. Of course, Hamas spent 2 billion dollars building their tunnel network, which would have certainly built a lot of bomb shelters, amongst other things. Israel invested in bomb shelters, gave huge tax breaks for people living in areas that required them, and even made an IPhone app to warn civilians of incoming fire.

On to Araysar and his examples of "human shields". Your examples further illustrate the point. The Israeli's caught using "human shields" were using Palestinian children. Imagine the result of Israeli's using their own children as human shields. Hamas wouldn't care at all, in fact would probably aim FOR the shields. That is because Hamas deliberately wants to target Israeli children. I mean, is this even in doubt?

I didn't "lie", one of the videos was blatantly mislabeled on youtube. The point stands, as the other videos, including Hamas leaders, explicitly state the use of human shields.

Well we know that Israel killed something like 1400 Palestinians now in this latest round, with hardly any being fighters, vast majority are civilians.

While Palestinians killed something like 50 IDF soldiers and 3 civs.

Don't be more of a moron than you usually are. Obviously using Palestinian children like that is a war crime. However, those were very isolated cases. On the other hand, it is clear that Hamas intentionally goes out of its way to target Israeli children and use their own children routinely as human shields. Israel on the other hand goes out of its way to not kill Palestinian children and also obviously never use their own children for human shields.
