Yes, you're right... I saw different pics too I think of other sites that seem to suggest he had a black hood, had the tentacle thingys, etc. Seemed like different sites had different "leaks".
But yes, the left panel looks absolutely legit based on the toys (LoL, the toys).

Just realized something. All that stuff in the media over the years about "why won't Marvel show gay romance!" especially in the case of those two warriors in Black Panther...well, it all felt very astroturfed and weird. Like why does anyone care if what are ostensibly kids movies aren't depicting gay romance? They weren't really depicting ANY romance onscreen. I think Tony Stark and Pepper might have kissed once?
It just seemed weird that this one movie series was being singled out by all these media outlets for not depicting The Gay. So now I'm theorizing that all of it was astroturfed specifically to build up for whenever they do show The Gay in a Marvel movie and it can appear to be something audiences were clamoring for.
And that whenever...is Thor 4 when Valkyrie picks Jane as the Queen of Asgard. Why else are they calling her King Valkyrie? And then they can have a furious Black Swan style makeout session in the ostensibly kids movie. That's what all the astroturfing was about.
I don't mind The Gay or seeing The Gay in general, but what I think is going on here is a sort of manipulative long-con.

nah, Spidey smooched MJ, Starlord smooched Gamora, i think Ant Man smooched Wasp. it happens often. plus they cant make the gay a major plot point in any movie because that makes it difficult to release in non gay tolerant countries. it all has to be subtle so it can be removed.

I am sick of The Gay and the Diversity. Art and pop culture are supposed to reflect the parent civilization, but if you had to guess what the US was like purely on ours you would assume half the country were mixed race gay couples with dick chopper kids. The overrepresentation is fucking ridiculous. The Gay was fine when it was a joke or a backnote (see Klaus in Umbrella Academy for a recent example of that done correctly), but now its so in your face it makes me hate everything in entertainment. Which I suppose was the point all along.....

There were some good / funny gay movies in there or singular gay characters that were funny / decent. Birdcage was good, the gay black guy in Revenge of the Nerds was hilarious, Charles Grodin's character from Woman in Red was pretty fucking funny. But the core issue is always there is a point in being subtle and funny, then there is preaching wokeness. I think the movie Philadelphia is where that line got jumped.

Will & Grace broke the doors for middle America, my mom has always been kindly but W&G really led her to understand gays are mostly normal people. In the 90s, now she looks pretty side eyed at young lezbos who don't act like women and she doesn't get trannies at all (thank god).
