Not that Cocktail was ever heralded as a good movie, but I rewatched it a month or two ago and it's really not particularly entertaining. I remember liking it a lot when I was younger though.

Some, I know of a few others that have gay members. about 10 years ago the first openly gay Imam came forward. While the leaders in those communities were quick to condem, he still leads a congregation as well.
Most organized religion though is sketch though. I get you're trying to (poorly) bait me, but that's not a thing here. Sorry to disappoint.

I dont think that Mighty Thor run explained explicitly why she was worthy, but a bunch of people she loved died, then she got cancer and was also chose to represent Midgard on the council of world by Thor. Mjolnir chooses her after Thor has been found unworthy due to some Nick Fury fuckery, he becomes Odinson, she gets the (diminished) powers of Thor.
She isn't as strong as him, but does have more nuanced control of the hammer (able to control it in flight, etc). Also, the Asgardian powers she get clean her body of toxins, including her chemo, so her cancer advances more rapidly each time she assumes the mantle. I assume her willingness to kill herself a little bit each time she assumes the powers makes her worthy in the eyes of the hammer.
She eventually dies and a crumbling mjolnir forms into a bracelet around her arm and she becomes a Valkyrie and that bracelet can transform into a series of weapons to help her fight.
