I would've GLADLY seen this in a theatre before, as I love Tom's movies and I actually watched the original as a 4 year old so many times that my parents had to rebuy the VHS 3 times.that movie has been in the can for a year now? they are setting themselves to fail just like No Time To DIe did. keep wasting more and more money on marketing for release dates that keep getting pushed back. each time they do this they cost themselves many millions of dollars and the movie has to meet goals it wont be able to achieve. you cant keep fucking with your audience and expect them to keep taking it in the ass without a problem.
Fucking bullshit. Did they get cold feet because of the Bond movie underperforming?
May 27, 2022 is their release date as of today. That tweet is from September 1st. Paramount looked at Black Widow and Suicide Squad's lackluster numbers, forgot they also premiered on a streaming service at the same time, and punted their slate, days before Shang Chi exceeded expectations and a month before Venom blew its expectations out of the water.

it is still the date as of today. if you have new info, please share.that was the release date in that tweet, from September 1st
Maybe we are having a misunderstanding somewhere different than I thought. I was replying to Araxan who seemed to think that they moved this because of Bond underperforming and I was just saying it was already moved 6 weeks ago; after July and August's "Big movies" underperformed (and also released on streaming), before the over performance of both Shang Chi and Venom, no anything to do with Bond.it is still the date as of today. if you have new info, please share.
ok gotcha, although, back in september the writing was on the wall for the new Bond movie tanking.Maybe we are having a misunderstanding somewhere different than I thought. Bond had nothing to do with them punting to Memorial day from Christmas.
Cruise Is crazy method actor, hes going to be stubbornI'm amazed this movie still isn't out yet. I can't even remember how many years ago they were filming out at China Lake. Apparently 3 years ago based on my posts.
And that was after it was already in works since like 2011.
I remember we talked about possibly getting a private screening for the F/A-18 staff in the hangar since so many people helped out with the movie (pilots, people babysitting the film crew in all the sensitive areas, which is all of them, flight crew, etc). It's been so long that my wife and I don't even work for the program (left a year ago this week!), and I don't even try to conceal the fact that I worked there.
Covid really fucked the movie business.

Cruise has an ego and won't let his baby not hit Imax/Big screen
No one was waiting 35 years for this lolwhat's method acting got to do with waiting until Covid is over to release a movie people have been waiting 35 years for?
