So any guesses on who killed Caspere? I think there's a decent chance it was someone Vaughn met at the dinner party. Caspere was the key to getting that sweet Obama Bucks for whatever rail-related project they were working on, and with Caspere out of the way Vaugn will fumble it or lose it due to no clout. Then the group that killed Caspere can sweep in and scoop the funding.

The dinner party scene was the only one that was confusing to me. So many characters who could be major players or could be one-scene characters.

That's the somewhat business-minded theory anyway. Could be totally unrelated and be more about some sexual perversion club.

There should be a third thread for people that don't remember a bird head. Not saying I'm one of them. Just saying be considerate.

I think going for the perv angle again would be a bit tired. I'm hoping it's not that. It could be a red herring, and maybe even the motive that the killer hopes everyone will believe.

Is Caspere the real story? I figure his death unites them and puts them in some sex murder stuff, probably involves kids.

Farrell has issues with rape and bullies
Klitch is gung ho
Mcadams is very against objectifying women

Farrell is corrupt but after seeing the bondage or rape stuff he wont be able to sweep stuff under the rug and be paid off

It wasnt just a normal murder though. Did they not carve out his eyes? It seems to be something more than just some murder due to money.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't some random murder. Driving his body to that highway bench and posing the body, instead of burying it or something seemed purposeful.

In an interesting bit of trivia, I was reading the Wiki on Antigone and she was the sister of two brothers who fought on opposing sides in a civil war, the brother who died fighting on the losing side was shamed by the new ruler "The rebel brother's body will not be sanctified by holy rites, and will lie unburied on the battlefield, prey for carrion animals like worms and vultures".

Just caught my attention, since that's pretty much what they did with Caspere.
