Wellp... unsure when attachments will be fixed but it's getting frustrating, especially since triggered snowflakes moved this thread to the rickshaw where I can't just edit the post until the attachments works.

Post one thing I'm wrong about. Go ahead. Back up your words with actual evidence and quotes bub.

Yet you won't, because you can't. You and many others like you just strawman what I say. It's very tragic.

Goddamn, you're an idiot. And completely missing the point of this thread. What else is new.
The point of that thread is to quote people saying ridiculous things that sound more ridiculous when they are stand-alone quotes instead of the entire quote.

Now, fly of acidity, tell me what I said that was incorrect about that assessment?

Or do I have to repeat myself again: You won't because you can't. You know I'm right... but again, all you and many others like you have up your sleeve regarding me is strawmanning my actual words and beliefs.

It will shock you to learn that while proclaiming a genius-level understanding of science, she in practice has been shown to know almost nothing outside of rumor or just making shit up.

If arguing on FOH has taught me anything, it's that the people who are right or actually know WTF they're talking about don't win the majority of arguments. It's either a flock of angry sheep who work together to drown out counterarguments, or you get the lone bozo like Lumi, Tanoomba, hodj etc who simply refuse to ever STFU and then declare 'victory' when people tire of their shtick and stop engaging the crazy & disingenuous nutjob.

Vanessa definitely in that second group!

yeah tl;dr i still think "the SJW question" is overstated, by many. But that I had drastically misread the influence it would have and directions it would take. It's not the same as the PC shit before in the 90s and 2000s, and it's not just people larping on the internet instead of real activism (although that is rampant). If you're asking if I support it? That's way too big of a question because the label encompasses too much shit, but generally no at least not for things I would apply the label to.

That wouldn't apply to the same things as you though, I'd think. I've always said the least offensive thing about Vanessa is her feminine penis or pronouns or whatever.

I mean, I would point to the Biden admin bringing in an education secretary who is a critical race theory advocate and who wants to make it national policy as a sign the whole SJW thing couldn't have been overtstated (CRT is effectively their central dogma). But I don't want to argue over perception with you.

I'm just curious...when would the SJW issue achieve the kind of level where you'd say "okay, the other side had a point"? (I'm asking because it will give insight to what you think we or even I believe and the 'line' for you in terms of real issues).

And yeah, I agree its hard to say things in the generalized sense--there are some SJW things I support, just not to the degree SJWs support them. Nuance is pretty big, the poison is the dosage, not the presence of something. But I'm curious about what I asked about above--when would you be like "shit, this SJW thing genuinely has gotten completely out of hand".

also I really, truly do not care. I've been enduring protests and riots a few miles from my house for more than a year now, plus the obvious covid shit and just life, I have no time for any of this, I just come here to look at titties, talk about tv shows, and laugh at Vanessa.

But this is also what makes you perfect to talk to--you represent the majority of America. You're not disinterested because you're stupid, or lazy--but because bandwidth requires you ration your attention. So I really enjoy understanding what breaks through that bandwidth cap.

But I already said that, I even gave the specific example of the trans kids + puberty blockers debate.

We all ration our attention. I don't think I represent the majority of Americans in any meaningful way aside from basic shit like "I would like functional government please." If I have any priorities, it's that.

Maybe we didn't talk about the trans kids thing here, I thought he did. Who can keep up.

Correct.

Puberty blockers don't hurt children, was the statement.
Yeah but it was a larger discussion about trans kids, how "trans kids" often end up not being trans, the fact that there's no standardized testing for it and certainly nothing objective, the politics involved in the mental health community that was interfering with their charge to care for kids welfare first and foremost, then the "puberty blockers are harmless anyways lol" shit. Such an ugly topic.
