there wasnt enough show to gauge if its good or bad, the 2 episodes only totalled 45 minutes. we dont even know what the show is about. usually the pilot sets the premise. here disney assumed all their fans will watch anything with the Marvel logo on it

I just watched the two episodes and I just don't get what it's supposed to be about. It seems obvious that someone is fucking with Wanda but they waste like 25 minutes out of the 26 minutes the show runs for to show you that. I don't know maybe I'm not into the memory lane of old tv shows that I never gave a shit about. At least do MASH or Magnum PI or something cool like that.

again, the running theory is that these are the shows that wanda watched growing up in sokovia. the simplicity of sitcoms were a form of escapism while real life was no good for her. little kids didn't watch MASH or magnum PI. they watched stuff like leave it to beaver and bewitched. she's put herself in this sitcom world because they make her feel safe. she can't remember anything bad because her psyche is literally trying to protect herself from everything that's happened (and probably specifically what's happened after end game).

i fully understand why people might not be interested in watching 50's and 60's sitcoms, or even ANY sitcoms, but clearly that is the direction the show has taken. there is this weird ownership that fans have that things MUST be for them, and that's why you get all these people who are giving such bad reviews. they wanted the show to be something that THEY like and aren't judging it on it's own merits.
