I definitely got 2000s Malcolm in the Middle vibes. The credits sequence, the twins narrating to the camera, the quick cuts, multiple locations, the handheld camera style

As expected, once I 'knew' the source material better (and Malcolm in the Middle was the stealth best comedy of that era), I got a lot more out of the homage.

Seems like we are going with the most predictable outcome, the town was already a preexisting project, likely finding new ways to create supers. Agnes had been manipulating it for her own ends, then Wanda accidentally crossed into the town after grabbing Vision's corpse and took over.

So Modern Family next week (since we still haven't had a confessional show), then I have no clue what the format is - straight 'Marvel movie' from that point on?

Episode at least answers our question about certain things existing outside the hex. Monica is def going to become Photon also after that bit about her cells and the ct scans bring just a bright screen

If we're going with the Sword director coverup version, then he intentionally sent Monica in to get absorbed into the town so she wouldn't dig into what he's been working on. (As mentioned in that episode, far more creating weapons than pre-snap.)

Him suddenly leaving to Washington in Episode 4 is fuzzier - he wants details once he sees Agnes (Is this authentic?), but there's no clear trigger I see that makes him leave.

Still no sign of the water tower, is it just a mutagen (for lack of a better word) in their water supply that gives them powers?

thats an interesting idea, so their house is still inside that lab and thats why Vision is tethered to that town.

They were obviously harvesting Vision for Vibranium. I am also assuming now that Visions "do not resuscitate" shit was also bogus.

Im wondering if the witness protection person was someone like Ghost from Ant man and the Wasp
or the older black man that was her foster dad. They did go on the lam at the end of the movie

Holy fuck that was intense. I wasn't a huge fan of the style of sitcom at the start of the episode (showing my age) but the back half of that ep was fucking insane. Paul Bettany is totally killing it in this. It keeps getting better and better.

So I think Agnes is definitely in on it and she basically lured Vision to where he needed to go to get obliterated. She knows he's the one thing that could get SW to end all of this so she was trying to get rid of him.

Curious who Rambeau's "guy" is. I know some people were thinking Reed Richards, but I'd guess War Machine though he was more a pilot than an Aero Engineer I think. Online a lot of people hinting at something bigger than QS showing up and I think most people assume it'll be Magneto as Wandas birth father. I'm thinking it's Prof X as McAvoy to come in and get through to Wanda while unfucking all the hexxed peoples minds.
