It was just funny because you have guys like Merlin who have been instructed by the media that this is now too far. Syria has been fucked for years now and the care factory has been closed. But suddenly IT'S GO TIME. Ridiculous.

Since I'm going to win the bet and since I don't want to see Key & Peele even on Tuco, I'm going to go with... Nope.

The is Obama going to bomb Syria bet was a no-brainer, the only interesting part is the spread whether he bombs before/after next Thursday.

The more interesting bet is the: Is Obama going to do more than bomb them after he bombs them bet? Which I would stay away from because I can't tell. I think it's 50/50 that Obama will not be satisfied by one set of missile strikes.

Going to be close. UN saying it needs two weeks to analyze the chemical evidence. So will Obama wait the two weeks so that it can strongarm the UN (or blackmail using NSA data) to saying they're Assad's chemicals before bombing. Or will Obama bomb before the evidence gets analyzed knowing that the attention span of the average American is less than two weeks, so no one will care about the evidence whatever it might be and we'll all be checking out the new Fall TV programs.
