FWIW that looks pretty similar to how my road looked after the derecho in MD couple years before we left. Took BG&E something like 4-5 days.

Still no change from my post this morning on my end. It's missing the heaviest hit part.

Refresh it and or clear cache. It's working. I'm staring at my neighbor's porch laying in his back yard.

how's your house look overall?

I'm amazed. I don't think a shingle is missing.

3rd from end on rt. The brown roof next to the green roof.

It was there when I went back this time. Odd it didn't show up a bit ago, I did exactly those things.

Since the danger is past, I offer the following levity. It is cool with a light breeze coming off Lake Erie here in Cleveland, and the city went nuts this afternoon as the Tribe won their 21st game in a row, setting a new AL record. Downtown is still one big party.

(Sorry, it is not often I get to say Cleveland is an awesome place to live. Florida without AC is damn near unlivable. Get those linemen out there!)

Is that a section of bridge mission just below you, or is that boat ramps or something. I can't tell. Also is that bridge high enough to boat under or do you have to go around to the north to get out to sea?

There's a ramp at the end of the hood. No bridges in my part. The bridge at US1 toward Big Pine is 15ft at mean high tide.

I'm talking about beside US1 near you there is 2 sections that look lower with a gap in the middle. Wasn't sure if it was a wave barrier, piers by bridge, or boat ramps or a busted mini bridge. It's on the south side between US1 and the power lines.

I'm now wondering how many people in the Keys will go back with solar roofs after this.

I was just looking at some of the destruction when I came across that green roof. Amazing how good your neighborhood seemed to fair, considering that there's 3 roofs laying in a field just north of you.

Also, I feel real bad for anyone returning to the east side of Big Pine.

A fucking railroad? I'm guessing at one point someone was like we should build communities on these little rocks. What do we need?
42 bridges, a fuckton of concrete and a railroad to haul all that shit there.
Done.
So what's the plan?
We'll split it up into 1/4 acre lots, sell them for hundreds of thousands of dollars and build $70,000 homes on them!
DONE
What about landscaping?
Stick some flamingos in the sand.
DOOOOONE
