Of course they do. They also require a permit for landscaping, but if industrious kids show up and want to work for money, I have no issue with that. I wish more teenager were doing it.

We have the opposite problem in our area (no crime), about 4 times a year a group of kids ( happen to mostly be black) walk around the neighborhoods and take anything from unlocked cars.

Sure, you get some assholes who bust kids with lemonade stands, but common sense let’s young kids do shit like mowing lawn/sell lemonade/shovel snow for money

I used to do that as a kid. $5-10 bucks to shovel a walk way was a lot of money to a kid in the 80s

Have no idea, you see people in big cities on TV that literally buy food on the way home from work everyday or eat out. Having grown up in hurricane area and been in some I've always had plenty. When I lived in east, TX I bought groceries once a week when I went to town.

Would be totally foreign to be 3 meals away from having to roam for food.
