There are actually a ton of people here who have lost significant amounts of weight. Even crazy ole Himeo has lost a fuckton of weight. Both chaos and I have lost considerable weight as well. Don't listen to that guy, he's a bit off his rocker.
Grats on your weight loss!!I'm a proud member of the lost 50+ club. I enjoy reading other's successes to keep me motivated, especially when they've lost weight differently from me. Once the monitoring of in/out calories happens, I think it's pretty cake from there (assuming the willpower is there). The people who overcome "genetics" or such just prove that some may just need to work harder than others, but there is no such thing as "I can't be healthy and/or lose weight".
Wow, that plan really claimed someone lost 11.5% body fat and GAINED 2kg in 4 months? If it were me, I would have stopped reading the entire plan there. The writer has way more patience for bullshit than I do.Found this "objective review" of the 12 week body plan which is probably, no definitely, more objective than the tired line of "personal trainers are evil!"

Congrats, but I see literally nothing that makes that plan special... you would've seen the same results if you were eating only 2 or 3 meals per day. Frequency of eating has nothing to do with weight loss or properly feeding your muscles...Thanks man. I did the gethin 12 week plan, and it worked great (probably wouldn't recommend it without checking wit your doc) People at work gave me crap at first for constantly eating every 2 hours till they saw the results, then I was getting questions and asked for advice constantly. Got several people to look at their diets and start working out because of it. This was probably the largest motivatir to get me to keep going.
I Flux between 185 and 190 now and kind of am in maintenance mode. Even pushing 40, gonna shoot for 175. Be the lightest I've been in almost 15 years. Went from size 44 to 34. Pretty big difference. Want 32 though. Can do 10 pull-ups now, something I've never been able to do before.
I don't even know what Ossoi is getting at posting this shit.Wow, that plan really claimed someone lost 11.5% body fat and GAINED 2kg in 4 months? If it were me, I would have stopped reading the entire plan there. The writer has way more patience for bullshit than I do.
It's what he chose to do and it worked for him.Congrats, but I see literally nothing that makes that plan special...

I lost 14% and gained 6kg in 8 months, what's your point? Could have done it a lot sooner if at the start I knew what I did at the end and didn't have any nights out or holidays.Wow, that plan really claimed someone lost 11.5% body fat and GAINED 2kg in 4 months? I think it has more to do with feeling satisfied throughout the day so you don't overeat at meals. Some people get legitimately hungry a lot sooner than other people. If they try to wait it out til they get to their "appropriate" meal time it can lead to overeating because they are so hungry. I didn't necessarily eat "small" meals but I did eat whenever I was hungry which meant I was usually eating 6-7 times per day when I was losing weight and it worked great for me. I would feel hungry so I would have a handful of sliced chicken (not even close to a meal, in actuality just a snack) and that would help me make it to my next "meal time" without my eyes getting bigger than my stomach so to speak. I think it's much better to eat when your hungry (actually hungry, not bored or depressed) than try to make it to your next meal without eating.Congrats, but I see literally nothing that makes that plan special... you would've seen the same results if you were eating only 2 or 3 meals per day. I've read plenty of scientific studies that show eating 6+ meals a day increases weight loss, while 3 meals a day is generally better for muscle gain. The difference isn't huge, but it is there. I did look into it. And either the way, the key was finding a routine I could do and stick to, and again, it worked. Also, I was never ever hungry. Actually, I had to force myself to eat my meals. I was consuming 2500 calories for the first month then cut it down to 2200, so it definitely wasn't a starvation diet.Congrats, but I see literally nothing that makes that plan special... you would've seen the same results if you were eating only 2 or 3 meals per day. Just want to clarify that for anyone looking to lose weight. There's people who only eat one meal a day at my gym, and they're a lot fucking bigger than me.
