It's Sabotage!

The Saboteur is out to sabotage your training and diet program. He or she can do this overtly or covertly, and through physical or emotional manipulations. Let's go through some examples:

. A family member cooks you your favorite cheat food and encourages you to "live a little" and give up the diet.

...

So why do they do it? Well, they may be doing it consciously or unconsciously. It can be done out of hatred or competition, but the usual culprits are jealously and fear.

...

These types of saboteurs behave this way to make themselves feel better. Your discipline and success is like a slap in the face to them. Without saying a word, you're making their excuses look pathetic. These infectious whiners won't be inspired by you; they'll be offended. Nothing pisses off a toxic person more than seeing someone else succeed!

Everyone in my life does that. "You're too skinny!" "You need to eat more!" Shut the fuck up. I eat plenty, more than all of them probably.

Fat people have diesel legs from carrying around their obese upper halves for decades.

I hate working legs because, honestly, I already have trouble finding jeans that can fit my enormous calves and thighs which developed over years of constantly supporting several hundred pounds.

Unless you're trying to wear skinny jeans, I think there's enough variance in jean cuts to accommodate just about anyone, regardless of diesel legs (which generally mans too damn fat to fit).

I do have a love/hate relationship with leg workouts. They hurt like hell, but the pump and actually seeing definition after a workout is worth it. The being sore for 4+ days after, of course, sucks.

Well, I can find jeans that fit, but the problem is that I have a really small stomach but huge legs. So the jeans that have a small enough waist to not be baggy are too tight in the legs, and the jeans that are comfortable in the legs are super baggy around the waist.

I actually like it when I feel sore for a couple of days after a squats session

Makes me know that I pushed hard and didn't fuck around that day. Yes, my muscles are sore but afterwards, they're going to come back stronger, bigger and ready to lift even more than before

Wear your jeans like this. You'll look cool too

Problem solved

I have a lot of problems with dress pants. Like, the ones I'm wearing now are fine when I'm standing. But when I sit down they look like I'm wearing fucking spandex (and my legs aren't big at all...23" at the largest spot).

I also fucking hate dress shirts. Outside of a few brands, they're all designed for massive people. After lifting for a while, my shoulders got big and that fucked with my sleeve length. So in order to get a shirt that's long enough for my arms, I end up with a god damn parachute shirt in the body. I actually learned how to sew last year just so I could take in the body of all my shirts so they wouldn't look so terrible.

If you're going to be a baller, you need to go to a tailor Wakandan.

I definitely agree on dress pants tho... I have HUGE thighs and knees, not as noticeable when flexed standing up but when I sit? Jesus fucking. Tree trunks man.

Getting shirts tailored is surprisingly inexpensive. I actually know how to sew, but for what usually ends up being $5 a shirt I'd rather have someone else do it.

The Six Week Muscle Plan

I'll be buying this as soon as it's released, hopefully within the next fortnight. I weighed in this morning at 5"11 and 71.9kg / 158lbs, definitely leaner than ever but definitely time to start putting some bulk on. Will be taking it slower and with a lot more discipline this time round.

Any of you guys give DDP yoga a try?
Downloaded the DVDs, did a couple of sessions but then started weight training.

It's definitely worth giving it a go, I have been meaning to start up again to help with mobility and flexibility

What makes this feat even more striking is that Oliver started weighing just 60kg, so he increased his actual bodyweight by almost 11% in just six weeks! All without adding an ounce of fat.

I purchased the whole shebang of DDP Yoga from the website. I like DDP so I figured I would give him my money.

I completed the 13 week beginner Yoga program 2 weeks ago and I have started on the Intermediate. The beginner program is perfect for beginners (duh I guess). I started the program at over 250 lbs and I was still able to progress nicely. There is a moderate amount of falling, mouth breathing, and swearing in the beginning.

For me, I noticed an increase in flexibility (can touch my toes again, success) and my muscles are...harder? Basically, instead of being soft when I flex, they are actual muscles now. This is noticed the most in the legs where a large majority of the work is focused around. Balance is another area this has helped with. The workouts can be very frustrating in the beginning when you lose your balance all the time.

After completing the 13 week program I was able to do 3 of the 4 workout sessions at 100% and the final workout (Diamond Cutter!) was about 70%. That one is a 50 minute workout that you only do as the last workout of the last day of beginner, it is tough. The intermediate program starts working that particular work out in half way through every Friday. The other workouts are around 25 minutes long. There is a core workout that I am just horrible at that is added on to the end of some of the workouts.

I checked out the diet plan in the workout booklet and I decided not to go with it. The diet has 3 phases, I would describe them as Keto > Paleo > and super Paleo or something like that. Basically, the first phase has you cut carbs (sugar, bread, etc). The second phase removes dairy and...something else. I don't remember much of the third phase, it was probably gluten removal or something.

If you have seen the video of Arthur on his website, he did a custom workout with phase 3 of the diet with really impressive results.

I would recommend this program to anyone as it has been a great benefit to me. The novelty factor wears off, but by that time a habit has formed.

It's stuff like that that makes me think Ossoi is just a troll. 14 pounds of muscle in 6 weeks is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE, unless you're taking GH or steroids.

Even ignoring the outlandish claims, plans like that irritate me. 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 18 weeks. Whatever. It's basically for people who want a get fit quick scheme. And there's no such thing. If you're in this for change, you're in it for the long haul.

That said, I'd like Ossoi to post his results. Measurements, pictures, lifts, everything.
