I increase weight once I can bust out 3 sets of 8, right now I get 8, 6, 4. I started at 25's and I'm on about my 3rd week of 35's.Do you keep the weight the same or are you increasing them every week?
Your metabolism won't get "confused" or whatever by changing it up for a few days. Look at it more like a system (because it is). It takes about 6 months to re-adjust your metabolism, so yours is probably dicked up right now at 1600 calories (read: used to running on it). Think of it like a slow evolving organism that you have to constantly feed. You feed it 100 energy cubes and it starts functioning normally on 100. Give it an extra 5 energy cubes every day and after a while it gets a little bigger and expects it. Similarly, starve it of energy cubes and only give it 90, and it'll get smaller and only need 90. When you overdo it and give it 50 energy cubes instead of 90 to shrink it (like dropping your calories down to 1400 for some crazy reason) it fights back. It DOES get smaller, but at a certain point says fuck you, I'm going to stop getting smaller and we'll just stick it out with 50 energy cubes. That's called fucking your metabolism up, and it comes from dropping calories either too often or too drastically.I have never had my testosterone or thyroid levels checked, but I can tell you I was very skinny up until a few years ago before eating out all the time and eating large portions fucked me before I realized it. If you would like to take a look at my diet just shoot me a PM and I can add you on myfitnesspal if you have an account.
No constipation or diarrhea.
Would it be better to eat like 2200 a few days then go back to 1600? Keeping my metabolism on it's toes? I was really surprised at how bad I was eating when I got myfitnesspal, I thought I was doing good but in reality I was doing shitty.

Day one is arms and shoulders.Your metabolism won't get "confused" or whatever by changing it up for a few days. Look at it more like a system (because it is). You need to fix it now by slowly increasing your calories over a long period of time to reset your metabolism without ballooning your weight up along with it. This is because your metabolism is now using 1600ish as maintenance. If you jack it up to 2000+ you'll start gaining weight fast.
This response seems rambling to me now after that energy cubes shit, but I'm not deleting it now. I'll probably post another reply to clarify later.
As far as your workout, that shit is all over the place. You need to find a legitimate routine as opposed to just mish-mashing random crap together. It also looks like you're doing almost exclusively machines and dumbbells.
Yeah sounds familiar, I don't remember the brand I looked at.I think the good adjustable dumbbells are power tech and ironmaster. All other brands are trash.
Why are you limited to two days? And if that's the case, you've essentially got about 80-90% of your body on one day (back, chest, legs) and the other 10% on their own day.Day one is arms and shoulders.
Day two is back, chest and legs.
Not sure how else to streamline into two days otherwise. Also, our gym only has machines, dumbbells and cardio equipment.
Biggest problem with trying to do a two-day split imo.How long are your workout sessions, Heko? And yeah, your balance between day 1 and day 2 is pretty far off. Chest/back/legs are not only much larger muscle groups then arms, but you're also working your bis every time you do a back exercise and your tris with your chest.Your shoulders typically play a role in both.
Have you had any caffeine? That's a pretty strong appetite suppressor. I sometimes only eat once a day at like 10pm, which consists of 800 - 1000 calories, because I drink like 10 cups of coffee throughout the day and it insanely heavily suppresses my appetite.Okay so problem:
I've only taken in 1500 calories today and I have absolutely no desire to eat. I've taken in 150g of protein, 50g of fat, and 17g of net carbs. Mind you, I lifted this morning at 6 AM.
Why am I not fucking hungry? I was eating upwards of 3000+ calories while lifting 6 months ago and I kept eating like that even after not lifting anymore. I've been doing keto somewhat (mind you, less than a week), is this some sort of bullshit transition? Cause I'm not going to increase weight by eating like a fucking bunny like this. Anyone have some advice?
Literally never had coffee in my life. the only thing I drink is water or alcohol, and none of that today lol.Have you had any caffeine? That's a pretty strong appetite suppressor. well that was embarrasing.Time for first gym trip of this period of me pretending like I'll get into shape...
