Never have but I get background checked several times a year and Exxon does a credit check on you. I'm not sure what they are looking for. A friend of mine in high school, his dad a shop was full of stuff that had Exxon printed on it. From welders, air compressors, to hand tools. One day at a time.Am I the only one that gets polygraphed regularly for my job?
That would be fun actually just to fuck with them on it.Am I the only one that gets polygraphed regularly for my job?
I find it boring, they are pretty stiff. They couldn't phase me if they tried though. I wish I could play around and see if I can lie well on it but for this it's just easier to answer the stupid questions and move on.That would be fun actually just to fuck with them on it.
It's good being the boss, bro. Life insurance companies can go get fucked though.Am I the only one thats never been drug tested for any job?
Give the man the work bag next time and walk out the better man. *shrug*I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed, but what are ya gonna do. *shrug*
As I already said, he stood there and watched me load up all my office stuff in it for 10 minutes and as I walked out he said he needed it. At -ANY- point he could have told me that, but he waited for me to fill it with my belongings and walk half way out the building with it.Give the man the work bag next time and walk out the better man. *shrug*
While I don't blame you for your honest reaction, giving the bag back would have been the better choice. IMO it's never a good thing to leave a job on bad terms. As I already said, he stood there and watched me load up all my office stuff in it for 10 minutes and as I walked out he said he needed it. Yes it would have sucked, you could have asked him to walk with you to your car, dumped all your stuff in your car. Then you hand it back to him and say "once again thanks for the advance heads up and walking out with me to my car, here's the bag".While I don't blame you for your honest reaction, giving the bag back would have been the better choice.
