What If...? Works as a purely episodic affair. It's a perfect little terrarium of character and concept exploration which also allows for maximum fanservice at times.

With the way the Captain Carter episode ended, I could see a few of them over the course of the 20 episodes being the shared universe, leading to a What If... Alternate Avengers episode, But I dont think any of the current 3 have been in the same universe.

The shield can't be in Peggy's possession, in the Collector's possession, AND frozen in the arctic.

Peggy's shield had a British flag. So the one in her possession doesn't play into this fever dream.

I like this animation. It reminds me of Heavy Metal, but with less nudity. I always preferred that style of animation, whatever it's called.

I got very excited when he first called captain marvel. Was very disappointed when she didn't get murdered

Heavy Metal was really good. The art and music? Still a great watch.

Not sure what gave that impression. It's just an anthology show that lets them play around with multiverse scenarios.

Is it possible they might have crossovers? Sure.

No I think he's pretty spot on. Think we're building to assembling them as a team by Uatu the Watcher to fight Ultron. We might even know the team's name:

I like this show despite the fact it should be called "What if White Men Were Killed or Neutered..."

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but then they literally just killed all the white male avengers in the most recent episode lol

This is why overdosing on “red pills” is bad - rots the brain to the point they can’t even remember who the original Avengers were

I really liked the 3rd episode. Was Meh on the first two so happy for a trajectory change.

You guys are clowns. There were already 2 previous episodes to support the claim

No, you're a clown. I was wary of the 'what if we replaced all the white males' after the first two episodes but that clearly isn't what happened in the third episode.

The evidence is circumstantial... Steve Rogers wasn't sidelined at all in the first episode. The woke crowd dictates that you have to bury white males, which is not at all what happened with Rogers.

counterpoint: what made Rogers the ideal candidate was his unparalleled character and we've seen time and again what happens when people OTHER than Steve become super soldiers. Peggy being able to stand toe to toe with normal universe Steve does take away some of what makes him special.

Black panther being a better starlord than quill has some obvious draws to the woke narrative, but that's also not really anything new. Peter quill is a terrible starlord, but thats what makes him lovable and different. Every scene quill was in played him up as a lovable dufus. ANYONE could have had mostly better results. T'challa convincing Thanos to cool it came across as them just leaning into that to a purposefully ludicrous degree. And Chadwick boseman was awesome as t'challa so who cares.

Counterpoint: they could have gone with ANYONE as a replacement to quill but they went with t'challa because of the monolith that the woke community made him.

With episode 3, the original avengers were being targeted BEFORE the avengers were a team. The team was a bunch of white men and black widow. There was no other option than to kill off a bunch of white men in that situation. Sure they could have killed off widow earlier and made her less of a player in the episode, but I think they wanted to focus on her more just because she always ends up being a side character, so they wanted to give her more to do and a murder mystery is perfect for her to shine.

Counterpoint: the story was specifically designed to put a woman and a black man center stage against an evil white male.

If youre a hammer, all you see are nails.

That's a whole lot of excuses for the woke bullshit.

T'Challa being a male Mary Sue and completely perfect at everything while adored by everyone was pretty bad. Definitely the worst episode
