Working on hosting some sim racing stuff and finally got the camera stuff to work to capture my vision for making racing more cinematic. It's in 4K so crank up the volume in some badass headphones and give it a watch. I need to work on my drone flying and framing.

Yeah, I used it a couple times right after we got the car. It was pretty solid in our area, but not worth the price obviously. The auto cruise/lane assist is solid though. Use it for decent chunks of drives on the highway that are over 30 minutes or so.

This is VW. There will be no IF. These things will be $65k+ to start, and likely $70k+ with any options pack.

Hopefully using the Rivian tech they're licensing will help them keep it a little more reasonable.

I'm pretty sure there are pictures/art of the SUV design quite a while before the Rivian thing came to be.

I wasn't offended by things like the Mustang Mach E or GM's rebadged Holden they called a GTO, but this disgusts me. International Harvester Scouts were my favorite vehicle growing up. Don't besmirch that name with this bullshit. They didn't really bring along any of the main styling cues except "boxy" and sort of a semblance of the old grill in the front. Why would you not do something with circular headlights?

This is going to be another disaster for VW. They're going to piss off all the dealerships by selling direct to consumer, but then probably still rely on their dealer network for service. I'm sure that will go splendidly.
