Other night we had a storm and our internet went out around midnight. I was trying to turn off my smart light switch and had to get up and use my finger to turn the lights off. What in the actual fuck is this bullshit!

Major rustle this morning from some dumb asshole rear ending me at a stop light. Thankfully just seems like bumper damage on both bumpers but now i have to get the car to the shop, have them take care of it and hope insurance covers it. Car is 15 years old so I'm a little concerned they may balk but the airbag didn't go off and other than the bumpers the car is fine. Just pissed since it was a dumb accident that didn't need to happen if the dumb fuck had just payed attention to traffic rather than the light.
Minor rustle from an employee at work. We are shifting their schedules as a group from just Mon-Fri to all 7 days a week plus some on-call from after work till about 11:30. We arn't doing full overnight call so they can still get a full nights rest. We've been telling them for a full year this was our plan, hire more team members to fill out the team; and yet when we sit down to actual have them pick the scheduled this dumbass just sits there, after picking the prime schedule no less, to say "Well, I just cant work this, I have stuff going on at home. This just isn't going to work for me!" And we are all just looking at him thinking " If we say we are going to do this and your saying you won't do it, how do you think this conversation is going to go?" The only thing I'm waiting on right now is the manager to talk to our HR rep, but I'm pretty much going to have to fire him since he won't take the initiative himself and leave. I guess he just thinks we were going to scrap our plans just because he doesn't like it.

Youtube started feeding me these ai image like audiobook something or another ads. Problem is they start off with some vaguely NSFW stuff. "Quinns but was bleeding .... as he was drug across the concrete" And another one opens up essentially threatening to rape his gf or some shit.
I've tried reporting the ads, hitting the don't show me this one again, etc etc. Still bombarded with this shit that doesn't really jive with anything else I can think of that would get it served up to me.

Almost exactly opposite here.
Haven't been able to get 'spring service' performed on my AC as they only start doing them when it's consistently 70 and above. Really hope the damn thing works as next Wednesday it's supposed to be 90. Guess we're not getting a spring here in SW NV.

I deleted facebook back in 2012 when they changed all my friend's emails to @facebook instead of the actual domains. So for 12 years the wife was married to 'null' on it. But family asked nice for me to hop back on it last year for kid updates so I did. It has a HUGE noise to decent content ratio, but I met cool people through it on the support groups and even joined a local run club. But yeah, lotta garbage on it lol.

my cousin's husband is a welder. the company he works for has a contract with a company that builds car washes in several states. don't know what gets welded, but it requires nearly a week of on site work. they rotate a couple of guys, so one guy isn't out all the time. was talking to him last year and he just got back from being in 1 city for nearly a month, as they building 6 at one time.

A decent one can make bank. Neighbor had one, said he made $200+k on it a year. It was a big one, and the only one in the area. It was full service and staffed. I drove by it almost every day, and it was always packed, so I don't doubt his claim.
Judging by the condition of most of them, I'd guess the income isn't all that great. There were 6+ near where I used to live, and something on them was always broken, and often the entire place was out of order. I drove to all of them once, and went home with a dirty car.
People are sold on the idea that they are great passive income, but find they aren't that passive, and maintenance and lot costs are huge.
