this is probably a YGWYD but I have a router and a small UPS on a shelf high in my game room. Went to clean up cables and the shelf drops. I'm trying to see if the shelf came off the screws or what but the damn anchors pulled totally out of the drywall. I have a lot of plumbing behind the wall so didn't want to drill into studs so I used metal zipit anchors. Now I have a damn router / ups in my hand and the damn shelf pulls totally off the wall. And of course I'm home alone.

Between this post and just yesterday walking, wife and I hear a woodpecker and am like “thank God the one trying to battle our gutters is gone for years, also shot it”

woodpecker showed up for 3 hits at 8:20am today. went out and looked that side of the house over and still don't see anything.

I don't understand. If you drill into the studs, aren't you specifically avoiding the plumbing?

I sure do love my neighbor who has to use their leaf blower at 8am on a Sunday to blow the minuscule amount of leaves off their small front yard and driveway.

Had a neighbor pull that garbage with a lawn mower. Monday morning I put a push mower right at the edge of our 2 properties and wired the cut off handle closed and left it running for an hour or so while I got ready for work. When I turned it off I waited for them to look over and flipped them off. Never had a problem with them again.

Bought (5) 8TB WD RED NAS drives from Amazon.
4 of them came in two separate shipments via usps
1 came just now from UPS

All were just the hard drive box itself (retail packaging at least) with zero padding.

Yeah, after way too many years of paying the lazy tax I am finally shopping my homeowners and car insurance around, and it's looking like I've been getting ripped off every year for a significant amount based on the three quotes I've gotten so far.

It would be one thing if I had some gold plated insurance provider, but it's State Farm and honestly everything I've ever had to do around my homeowners policy has been a wrestling match and nightmare with them over.

State Farmwanted more for car insurance even WITH that big brother tracker in the car than a lot of other companies without it. My lowest used to be the company with Costco.

Haven't been to a concert in a long time, so not really a reason to be rustled. But, I am. People fucking singing along with the band is bad enough, but holy fuck when the singer stops and lets the crowd sing. I didn't pay to hear some bunch of shitheads screeching the song that I paid to hear performed by the professional. The more I type, the more pissed off I get.

Went to a parking garage today and there was no pedestal, no attendant. Signs all over the place telling you to download an app. Why do i need an app for fucking parking? Okay fuck it. Downloaded the app and it asks me to prepay in 15 minute increments. How the fuck should i know how long im going to be here. It's a farmers market and downtown area. I'm going to enjoy the day and leave when i'm ready to. Needless to say i removed the app and they can fucking bill me.

At the very least, I'd be checking to see if there are any laws that might be breaking.
edit: In case it wasn't clear, I mean trapping/killing neighborhood pets, not the high-velocity returning of the trap. Animal cruelty can have crazy criminal penalties.
