Hey faggots,

I'm doing a historical research project and if any of you dumbasses would kindly partake in this I would appreciate it.

So yeah, why was the Civil War fought? Either your own formulated opinion or whatever you were taught in school, by your parents, etc.

This would actually help me out a ton if you guys would participate before it gets rickshawed.

cuz north couldn't keep their hands off south and south made preemptive strike to shock and awe north into status quo, but failed.

Because Augustus was jealous of all the hot poon Antony was getting and then Antony decided socialism is bullshit and stopped giving away free bread, so the socialists back in the capitol told terrible lies about him and started a war. He posts here sometimes so maybe ask for some direct quotes, you will definitely get an A if you have an exclusive primary source.

Because our deified Founding Fathers, the men who wrested America from the clutches of the evil King, who shat political philosophy before breakfast and wrote the sequel to the Bible - The Constitution, were unable to decide the issue of slavery. Well, they could have, but then America would have been split from the start.

Several reasons for the Civil War, true, but the failure to unfuck slavery at the start was certainly a contributing cause.

you can't unfuck slavery. nearly almost every important members of founding fathers had slaves at some point in their lives. Jefferson had a mountain full of slaves to work in his plantation in Virginia. These people were English equivalent of aristocracy living off the cheap labours that slavery provided, plus the agrarian aspiration of murica. slaves were integral to those goals.

No, the thesis is much different. But thank you for your input.

Troll comments are valued just as much as serious participation, so let loose!

Easy question. The Roundheads and the Cavaliers were in disagreement over the manner of government.

To liberate southern Kentuckians from the oppression of the north. In the end Kentucky won its southern identity back, but the confederacy lost overall.

1) Big vs. Small Gov't
2) States' rights
3) Slavery
4) The south is still butthurt to this day about losing (probably due to lag).
