Well, aside from the CPU that's pretty close and the 2500k was a beast of a CPU, especially OCd to 4.5 Ghz. People are saying it is still the best CPU from the last 3 years.
I'll give it a shot and report.

If you want to run Witcher 3 on Ultra settings at 1080p I wouldn't bet on anything less than a 290x/780/970 pulling it off, and keeping you above 30fps at all times. If you're doing 1440p and want ultra, better have a 780ti/980. If you want to do it at 4k, better have SLI'd 980s/780Tis. Just a hunch, I haven't seen any specifics posted anywhere.

There are a few youtube videos which do a highlight of the story if you want to catch up and not play the other games. I had to struggle through 2.

I've enjoyed the games for their grit and certain story elements. I don't mind the shades of grey for choices but for me they take it a little bit to the extreme. Feels like literally everything you do is some version of fucked up that it almost feels like you should of done nothing. Detracts some from the story when to many things end up feeling that way.

Video of just a random encounter that seems to lead to even more stuff. Also nice to hear the statement "just because it is really hard, doesn't mean it is impossible". (highly suspect he is playing on a fairly low difficulty setting though)
Lighting effects in this game seem fantastic.
Day one purchase, and knowing myself I will stay up until it launches 1am on the 19th, so if I don't take the day off work, getting up at 6am is going to suck. Think I am going to take the 19th and 20th off.

Witcher 2 (without FCR2) took the absurdity of rolling in combat to an entirely new level though. FCR2 looks just as silly if you spam the dodge button too; instead of rolling all over the place, Geralt pirouettes. It's not really an improvement unless you dodge very sparingly.
Another thing the genre could learn from Bloodborne: fast side/backsteps and lunges with i-frames while locked on, Souls-style rolling when not locked on.

EDIT: Watching it now. They are going through various gameplay styles. There are two dodges. One long roll and another skips. Quite similar to a combination of Bloodborne and Dark souls. Combat seems a bit more fluid when done by someone who knows the system.

I had no idea he pirouettes in the rebalance mod. I always thought it was silly for him to roll since in the books he always described as pirouetting in all his fights. The whole rolling thing was an obvious rip of DS.

The roll/pirouette thing in FCR2 seems to change based on how many enemies he's facing. It does look better than the roll, as long as you don't go full ballerina with the dodge button.
Not sure why they didn't at least keep that part of FCR2 alive in TW3, but from what I've seen skimming the various videos on youtube it's back to all rolling all the time. Could be something that unlocks later or with a skill though, who knows.
