I have to believe that Konsyl alone isn't responsible for your low cholesterol, you probably watch what you eat fairly well, or just have your youthful metabolism still perhaps.
I take 5g of fiber every morning in the form of sugar free gummy bears because they taste good and are therefore easy to take/remember. I realize it isn't the same kind of fiber and probably isn't as effective, but I'm not as worried about being precisely regular either. I would imagine that is slightly more important for you than it is for me?
In the interest of science, however, if I were to switch (because it is pretty damn cheap either way), are the capsules just as good as the powder? These, in particular:
Amazon.com: Konsyl Psyllium Fiber, 100 Capsules: Health Personal CareAs noted above, I already take a vitamin and fish oil, so it isn't a big deal to take one or two of these as necessary either. I'm not a big fan of the powders though, mainly because I don't ever drink anything significant first thing in the morning to put it in.
