I would consider rolling Alliance if a known streamer was rolling Horde on the server.

Why fight over 15 year old server firsts when we could grief someone into submission.

You realize they’re all going Alliance right?

The outrage is going to be fucking spectacular when Blizzard starts catering to the streamers and treating them as privileged players. I really don't think people are aware of how much influence these clowns are going to have.

If you have doubts about Blizzard caring about them, keep in mind that streamers that have around 10k viewers can get bounties to stream a game for 3 hours and be paid 5 figures for it. Now think about someone like Asmongold bringing in 200k. He'll likely hit half a million concurrent viewers on release day. That is a ridiculous amount of free advertising for Blizzard. Bobby Kotick would blow the creepy fucker along with a reacharound to keep him happy if he hadn't already sucked enough cock to reach his quota for a lifetime.

Ion pretty smugly already said when someone brought up streamers "If they don't want to be griefed on pvp servers then there are other servers for them to choose", so probably not.

They don't cater to streamers in the current game now, why would they in classic?

They key is to stream while griefing them. It'll translate into viewers for you.

Because nobody actually plays the current game, which will be peanuts compared to what classic is going to do for Blizzard. And Ion is unable to speak about anything without both being smug, and wrong.

I think you're off by a factor of 10. He usually has 20-50k viewers right now. Half a million would be over the single person stream all time record of 388k

People used to grief us all the time. All it took was one good place fear on the person tanking a world dragon to wipe a raid as 40 deep roll in

yes but they'll do that no matter what content. And if the content is Sodapoppin throwing one of his pathetic nerd rages because some "stream sniper" is corpse camping him for an hour, people will still watch that.

Just like it took them 2 fucking hours of some troll cow fucking up the duel tourney to ddo anything about it. You bet your ass someone at blizz was watching. But then on the other hand they host a RL money tourney which is clearly against TOS.

They are already getting tons of flack for allowing 10,000 streamers into beta (lol) and playing favorites so I doubt blizz will show them any favoritism. Besides streamers will stream regardless, its their fucking job. what, is asmond or soda gonna quit wow becuse they dont ban some idiot corpse camping them? LOL?

Seriously you could probably make a name for yourself but going ultra sperg on any number of these guys. If there was a guild who's sole purpose was to shit on a stream they would get a fair number of views. This would be content for both channels.

That level 30's PvP tournament had like 5x as many viewers as the MDI bullshit

Yes, right now. I'm talking about a game launch on an anticipation level that has never been seen before, at a time where Mega-Streamers are a thing. WoW has had massive influence over tens of millions of people over the past 15 years. Everyone will be talking about this. Most will have some level of nostalgia about it. Everyone else will have be curious about what all the hype is about. You think he can hit 200k+ in the beta, but not the actual release day? Half a million people will be sitting watching his scuzzy ass stare at a world offline/queue/connecting... message.

Okay.

They didn't cater to streamers in Legion, which was by far their most successful expansion since WOTLK, so why would they now?

No one will be watching these degenerates on release day. People will actually be playing. I tune in occasionally just to see what's up but if I had the game I wouldn't even go on twitch.
