I can't tell if Asmongold is serious when he gets spazzy and butthurt or if it's an act for twitch.

Definitely an act, look at his chat when he acts like a sperg.

He'll do shit like "Yeah I don't know what to do here" and it's literally just a spot where you walk forward 3ft, and chat is blowing up the entire time.

Asmongold is a buffoon. Zach is a somewhat intelligent guy who knows his audience and how to cater to them. He knows how to entertain his Twitch viewership.

Asmon is highly entertaining and he's a damn good storyteller.

He's also a trash human being and can be fingernails-on-a-chalk-board annoying. But he definitely knows his audience, how to cater to them, and how to leverage them to get what he wants.

Cuz pvp pointz?

Yeah, right now Horde/Ally mostly leave each other alone in the questing zones because there's not really any reason to kill someone, unless they're being a dick or you want to be a dick. For Phase 2, killing people out in the world will be the only way to get honor points until Battlegrounds are added in Phase 3.

On the servers with a large faction imbalance, what's going to happen is the majority faction will starve themselves out while the minority faction stops going out in the world except in groups. Also, flight paths are going to be camped so be aware if you're used to AFKing on them.

Similar to how we got Dire Maul a little early we might get WSG a little early to stem some of the bloodshed.

So they have 2 weeks to remove the last of the layers if they want to keep to their word and I just don't see it happening on the high pop servers.

Every single German PVP server has a queue as of last night. Even their PVE servers are mostly layered.

Even Hearstriker ends up with a queue at around 8pm.

oh yeah just to keep shitting on Blizzard, their intended launch was 1 PVE 1 PVP server for Germany.

They could just make 1 higher capacity layer, unless something fundamentally breaks down at a certain population threshold.

So I gotta finally ask this. As an old white guy, am I understanding this correctly that people just sit and watch streams of someone just playing WoW? Not like an e-tournament or a how-to raid boss guide. And they are watching some dude do it and not some chick with her tits out?

I have heard of this intar-web you speak of. My point is with the unlimited shit available to watch on the internet there are actually people with such meaningless lives that they spend their hours watching someone else play a game instead of playing it themselves.

I'm not pointing at you though. I'm sure you have a valid and meaningful reason for watching dudes play an online game... online. 😎

They're even watching them *not* playing WoW. There was a scene on Mongo recently where he was afk autofollow in BRD while four level 60s cleared the zone for him for exp. He actually had youtube or whatever in the foreground and watched videos and "reacted" (which is twitchy for commenting) on them for his viewers. Kang the Decapitator dropped, it was visible on stream but he didn't realize it. After a moment when his chat was crazy he went "oh kang dropped, I thought you guys were being racist again"

Porn. Gambling. Religion. Politics. Cat videos. Breaking Bad. Nope cant waste time using the internet for that. I gotta stream some nerd playing (or afk-ing) WoW. We are fucking doomed.

I met a guy who streams twice a week that's my age. We were talking and he is a programmer who supports stuff in my line of work. I sent him some work and it worked out OK. At least he understood the language in what I was looking for. He made the twitch plays Eve deal that's going on right now. It's not really watching a person like some of the real life creepy female streams as it just a quick get together to find out what is going on in the game.

But I have no life. Never watched WoW on stream.
