Hell, after watching it all the way through - he keeps mentioning azerite power abuse. His data, although current and correct, is skewed simply because its pulling from people abusing that system which will be irrelevant within a month. His rankings are totally pointless unless you're doing content from BFA right now. So Im not even sure the DPS rankings I looked at are out of date, or that they were just pulling from numbers that arent taking advantage of an old system.

the only safe bet is the usual suspects will suck as Burns said, feral and monks. classes they never let suck won't suck. Ret over warriors not going to last.

Always feels safe with Warrior/Hunter/Rogue/Mage covering the armor-types. Although Warrior tends not be "on top" in the first tier, since scaling is basically their bread-and-butter.

When someone does a "BEST SPECS IN SHADOWLANDS PREPATCH" vid and then goes to compare tanks with how much DPS they do in Mythic Nyalotha, you instantly know this vid is a colossal mess of nonsense and watching it robs you of your time.

If Shadowlands sucks dick then tuning knobs on class balance is going to do jack and shit. You can have a fun imbalanced game, there are literally 10's of thousands of them out there. You can't take an unfun piece of shit game then think hyperbalancing it is going to fix it. Systemlands is borked at a fundamental level, the foundation this dogshit is built upon is already cracked, you making sure all of the rooms are painted in the same color is a waste of time.

Then it also makes sense for the gear, skills and talents to go to level 25. Not 30.

For the most part, yes. Although with the talents I'd expect some moving around, since part of the reason they wanted to do the squish was that the talents/ability gain from 1->120 was spread out so much, and they wanted players to feel like they were gaining stuff more consistently while leveling.

Shouldn't be a real surprise there is some uneven stuff in the squish. But wouldn't 25->30 take like 30 minutes or something now?

Playing my hunter currently. The pet.. it says lvl 48, but uhh it wont die. It takes barely any damage.

Yeah, suppose that's true. Just seems like such minor stuff. Especially compared to all the other problems with the whole expansion, the ease of leveling made this seem like such a small thing by comparison.

I think blizzards biggest mistake has always been the thinking that they needed to change talents every expansion. It worked when they were adding new rows for every 5 or 10 levels per expansion. Now you log in and think "Hey I wonder if X class will be good or fun this time around?"

Rarely do they actually have both let alone one for your favorite class. If you want to be good you almost always change classes or you just dont give a shit about being top at your class.

But that's not what I wanted to do with that char. I wanted him to stay doing all the old lvl 60 dungeons, if i lvl him, all the gear I have collected will be useless. And it takes quite a few dungeon runs to get 2 Dragon's Calls. PLus I have an Ironfoe, purps not be purps anymore. And the blues and purps have the same ilvl now, rather than ilvl 66 for the blues and ilvl 72 for the purps. Now they are all the same ilvl, greens, blues, and purps, all the same ilvl. I dunno, I was having fun for the last 2 months exploring WoD with my lvl 110 and doing the 60 dungeons with my lvl 60. I don't know anything about beta, I really don't follow all the stuff about the game, I just play it. What I know about shadowlands I read here.

Actually I just cancelled my sub. they took my fun away. I can point to on a doll if you like. of course I resubbed like 3 days later, cuz I'm an addict and like dicking about in WoD.

Thinking about it, it's probably just Blizz devs being math dumb. They put it halfway between 10-50, the new range for when everyone levels a new toon through an expansion's content, since you do 1-10 in their new zone...when they should have moved all of that to halfway point between 1-50 like they did for all level 60's

yeah, it's the same with mounts, the lvl 60 mount skill that let you fly is now lvl 30, so my lvl 25 monk can no longer fly.
