Yeah, I'm just sad. I wanted the chef's hat from the cooking dailies, and was like 5 days from getting it.

I'm not buying SL, last xpac I bought was cataclysm, been checking out the the troll city in BFA, now that i can go there. It's all new content to me. 100% casual I am.

It's supposedly 2 weeks before any release date. Where you heard this dec. 31st I have no clue.

It says/said ON or BEFORE December 31st. They are still shooting for this year.

So I went to log in and it says my system will no longer be supported in future versions of warcraft.. Nothing specific, just the whole thing I guess. So i guess this will be my last month of play, anyways. Oh well, my system still plays every other game I have, so EQ or classic ( Unless they change that too) for the foreseeable future if I want my MMO fix.

Rarely do they actually have both let alone one for your favorite class. If you want to be good you almost always change classes or you just dont give a shit about being top at your class.

Imagine how many extra classes/specs they could have added with the dev time that's been spent redoing most classes/specs every expansion.

What are your system specs? They're constantly updating the engine

For me it's Brewmaster Monk - it's gone through so many changes, with one being because "class fantasy"

Ya the non stop changes to Brewmasters made me quit WoW. Class had so many changes, reworks, and nerfs you got whiplash.

Already cancelled. Got the Monk to 50, nothing left to do. Amazed at how shit DPS monk is.

Great idea removing everyone's power at the end of an expac. I noticed they did not remove things like reputation requirements too. Ding 50, have nothing to do because you have no faction anywhere. Another brilliant idea from the scintillating minds at Blizz.

Rep requirement for what? The only one there was was for unlocking WQs, and it's no longer required as long as you did it on your main. Just show up at the boat and unlock them.

Well, they say gtx 760, I have the gtx 680 which was rebadged as a gtx 770, so i hope I'm good there. My CPU is a dual core 2.5ghz, they want i3 ( 2 core/ 4 threads) I know it's 12 years old and needs updating, was working on that slowly this year until covid lockdown happened. I got win 10, new ssd, and a new monitor, the cpu/mb/mem were something i was gonna get in april-august, but that has been delayed, and now with the release of the 5000's amd series coming out, want to wait for them. Although the intel 's are looking good with the 6 core i5. And we are spiking again and lockdown will happen. Plus, I'm high risk, so I really go out as little as possible, and really early in the morning when very few people are out and about.

I just wish they had put that into the pre-patch last week, as my sub ran out on Friday last, and I would not have resubbed. But i did and 12 hours later i get that message.

I get 60fps in the old zones and 45-50 fps in WoD where i like to play. I get like 30fps in org during primetime, and BFS was like 35fps.

My videocard never goes over 80% usage, but both core of my cpu are 100% all the time.

I'm cheap. I know I need to update. Just kinda a bummer that I may be forced to if I want to continue to play WOW in the future. All my other games (300+) on steam play fine. And of course EQ is never a problem.

Classic is fine, 60 fps everywhere but org during primetime. then it drops to 40-50fps

I was playing the dps monk, i like the button pressing, felt like that was always something to press, unlike the unholy Dk i played. I still love my arms warrior, even though there are sooo many buttons now.

Don't know why everyone hated WoD, I love it. I really like the garrison and the missions and stuff. Now that I have flying it's even easier to run around and resourse and treasure gather. Although I have noticed things take longer to die now. I was 110 doing WoD, now 45.

Your setup was already 5-10 years old when you bought it, so really its like a 15-20 year old PC. I get being cheap, I do. But you can seriously just stop at a Pawn Shop and pick up a second hand PC for hundreds less and it be somewhat recent. Hell, pawn shops will sell you a rather good PC (probably stolen) for a third of what it costs brand new, especially if its old stock. My buddy runs a big pawn shop here in my town and he gets that shit all the time. They do a full diagnostic of the PC, clean it, wipe the hard drive, install windows with updates and then sell it. They rarely ever get shit that I would buy, but if you're that cheap.. its a perfect opportunity.
