agreed, I thought I held some sort of record when I was his age, he has got me beat (no pun)
It started during covid and that stupid online school, it really fucked him/us. He would minimize his online class and play games for the most part. Started with timed access, switched it up to opendns to filter content, QoS and parental controls, using a Fingbox, now the gloves have come off and went for a full upgrade to the home network with a shitload of unifi gear.

Years ago my Brother in Law noticed his oldest son looking up 'Asians with huge knockers', and went down the path you did blocking everything. The kid turned gay (NTTIAWWT!) and doesn't want to have kids. So be careful what you block if you want grandkids
I have wide open internet, but all the computers are in one room like a mini office. The youngest ones don't have anything they can take to their rooms.

That's a great option if you can swing it, the precedent has been set for personal pc/devices in their rooms unfortunately.

I didn't let my kids have computers in their room or devices in their room after bedtime until high school.
They saw this as a huge privilege and we used it as leverage to get them to do what we wanted. Worked great. I dunno your situation but you might consider pulling that privilege back and letting them re-earn it through good behavior.

I have 3 kids, my older 2 (daughters) are in their twenties, they have their crap together for the most part. I have cut my son off all internet access until he starts playing ball with us, but he is stubborn and is not co-operating in the least. I think he is sustaining himself with offline games and movies.
