The challenge is probably something they can adjust with Kunark though. Crank up VP while leaving the rest of it very doable for example.

Kinda expect it to do whatever a TLP typically does numbers wise. They will probably get my $20 because why not. The trifecta monetization annoys me but still cheap entertainment for a month or so.

Perky is fun till you get through the rebirths/AA and get decent/good gear. For me it got stale at that point. I lose interest pretty easily these days though. Still a good server. Been playing Ascendant for a few days now. So far, it seems more fun than perky ever was. Definitely a slower pace...

Still haven't actually rolled on the server but apparently casters got a pretty big buff on the high end to help them keep up with melee.

How's the rogue going? It seems like it would be really strong given the way stuff is setup on the server. Was thinking about doing a monk/cleric duo myself. 3 second complete heal is just insanely tempting.

Was thinking they probably wouldn't immediately wipe the server when MM was beaten but the people who did it first would get some reward. Then maybe a lesser reward for anyone who accomplishes it in the time the server is up. If that turns out to be wrong then yea, pointless.

Kinda interested since it is an era I didn't play on live. Only ever did Anguish when it was pretty trivial at lvl 75. Still seems like too much grinding for a will be wiped experience.

You should DL the UF client. You are gimping yourself using the P99 client.

From what I understand the pre-nerf drops are VERY rare. Something like 1% drop rate. The vast majority of the time you will get the nerfed or replaced item on the loot table.

Server was pretty damn relaxed when I was there. Casual cursing isn't going to get you a temp ban. High grade asshattery probably will but I never experienced any of that while I was there.

This pretty much sums up my experience of the server. If you want a low pop place to mess around and enough people that you don't feel completely alone thanks to global OOC, it works.

Played here a little over the last couple days. Pretty good server if you want something not crowded, no boxing, and velious era. They still have a lot of work ahead of them as far as being era correct. Also, the zems set are nowhere near classic so not sure what they plan to do there. Enjoying...

They used to offer premium MQ2 compiles. I assume they still do since the website still exists. Also, does ISboxer solve the issues with auto follow in eq? At one point I had MQ2 installed solely for /stick because auto follow was terrible.

You need a spot to go between Lfay sisters and OOT sisters. I would think oasis crocs and/or orcs would work well. EK is also a good outdoor destination for high teens, low 20s IIRC. Think I started OOT sisters at 24 but I was solo.

FFXI has always been one of the better group PVE MMOs if you can deal with the terrible UI. Not sure I would start a new character at this point though. Can't think of any modern MMO that is group PVE centric.
