At the rate they have been going, the entire season will be a cliff hanger. Nothing will be wrapped up. Now if the last episode is 3 hours long, then maybe they can wrap a few things up. Superman had not even crossed the ocean and entered into the United States yet. I would be shocked if they let him make it to the ranch, but yeah I could see that happening in the last 5 minutes. His entrance better be grand and not this, "him and his wife meander in after the conflict" kind of shit. This really should have been released all at once.
Unless they use that GoT boat instant travel!

Holy shit,

The man does not even reach the ranch. What the fuck kind of show ends with no arc completed at all for a season.

If you have not watched this show, do not bother yet. It is a waste of time to watch season one as it was written to streeeeeeeeeeeetch through multiple seasons. Just wait for them to all be written. I will not watch season 2 until I read that the son makes it to the ranch mid season. If that is how it finishes, then I will skip season 2 and wait until season 3. Fuck the way this show was written.

I just rated this shit 1 star because until I get to see the whole story I will not give anything above that rating. What a waste of talent, and seriously Fuck the sadomasochist writing that is clearing the writer projecting his fucking fetishes.

Wow that was a shit finale. I told my wife at this point it would be the end of season 2 before the kid was back in the USA at the beginning of the ep, then changed it to season 3 at the end. Literally nothing moved forward. Good show but that was a typical mid-season filler episode, not the finale.

Harrison Ford will be dead in reality before this show goes anywhere. Prediction season 3 starts with an asteroid slaming into Spencer as he reaches the shore.

Goddammit I should have read this first. I finally got around to watching the series because I figured it would be one season and done like the other one.

So when the fuck is the next season coming out? It's been forever. If Harrison Ford dies IRL it won't be that big a deal. He was on death's door in the show as it was. But Helen Mirren better hold on.

Final season?
The Paramount+ series 1923 has two planned seasons, with the second season being the final season:

Season 1: Premiered on December 18, 2022

Season 2: Will have eight episodes and will conclude the series

Nah. It's going to take him 6 episodes to reach the ranch. In episode 3 he will be on a train that's hit by a twister and carried back out to sea where the ship bringing Alex to America will see it and rescue him.

I was kidding but I guess it really does take them this long to do season 2.

Heeeeey guys, let's take years to do a 8 episode season, remember when they did 20+ episodes every 6 months( after air time ) before the next season and it wasn't just talking shit, it was heavy sets/different every time like SG-1. Now they can't even do 8 in 2 years. Amazing how advaned Hollywood has become. I guess they have to work in all the off time raping, drugging and hunting kids factored in.

It would probably go faster if Taylor Sheridan wasn't working on 6 shows at once.

"Yellowstone", "Tulsa King", "Lioness" and "Mayor of Kingstown" all came out with new seasons this fall and he also started "Landman" so I don't think he's just sitting around spending his money GRRM Style.
