Busy day for the fins. Pretty happy overall, got younger, and faster at LB, as well as a legit threat at wr. I do think we better try to keep Long, Martin might get Tannehill killed playing in Jake's spot. He was flat out embarrassed filling in for him at the end of the season.

Ready for the draft now to fill the weak spots.

does everyone else in miami think its a good idea to pay mike wallace 60 mil only to have ryan tannehill throwing to him?

Im kind of sad to see Bushrod go, but only because that means we'll have to find someone to replace him. But to be honest, he wasn't a very liked player for quite awhile in New Orleans. I can't even begin to express how many times Bushrod would do something stupid, but once that OL really started clicking, he did very well. Its ok though, Saints have always been about building the Inside and letting the outside be a bit weaker. Thats two pro bowl OL in 2 years we've let walk out the door(Carl Nicks last year, Bushrod this year), and we will still have one of the best OL in football.

I do have to say, im pretty shocked that Miami put that much money into Wallace though. I guess their thinking is that he will make Tannehill look better? Lol

Bears also got the saints oline coach who made them good for the past few years. Between signing Bushrod, healthy Carimi, hopefully a decent draft and a new oline coach and a new head coach, I think they can do a good job of shoring up that oline.

I'd be excited for them to resign anyone on the line except for Geathers, who has been very underwhelming. His production could be had for league minimum, and even an average pass rusher and competent blocker would add so much to what's already there.
The contract is $9.5 mil over three years. I don't think we'll end up regretting that, but I hope that doesn't affect us re-signing Andre Smith. I don't think we'll have problems getting Terrence Newman (who surprised me like no other with how much he stepped up last season) and Pacman Jones on board. Those are the big three left I'd like to see back.

Looks like Maualuga's gonna walk for Arizona. Good luck to him.

Ya we know Rice is the best, but its interesting to see at the end who graded out at #2.....something I had gotten shit about saying before on foh

You got shit for having him ahead of Rice if he'd stayed healthy, which that list accounts for=P

But yeah, cool lists. Like the adjusted receptions numbers.

Thank God the colts signed Erik Walden. That dude was singlehandedly responsible for a shit ton of the yards that kaepernick ran for against the packers. The guy is terrible at setting the edge. Which is funny because it's what the colts GM said his strength was lol.

I can't believe we might be signing James Harrison. His ass better be dirt cheap.

Things are looking bright for the ravens

makes sense, he's basically a LB in Safety's clothes. If Reed doesn't come back they have to replace their free safety because Pollard is a SS AT BEST, albeit he's good at what he does.

Safe to say Ravens are in free dump mode after Super Bowl hangover. Its reminiscent of the Marlins after they won the world series.

No it doesnt account for it, which is what is said in my quote (below) and why Rice won with a pretty big lead~

He was dominant and would have been in the discussion with Rice, we suspect, had he turned in a long career.
Part of the metric is measuring that success over an entire career where Rice blew everyone away with consistency (unlike Moss etc). I will never forget Sharpe making Woodson look like a fool all day in Favre's first game starting =/

Happy to see the Bears are actually using some common sense and trying to address their issues. Seems strange coming from them but I suppose every dog has it's day.

... yes, the point was they didn't even give time to mourn his loss, it was a joke because I liked Fasano.

It wasn't very funny to begin with and if I have to fucking explain it, it ruins it even more.
