I think a lot of it has to do with cap victims -- mainly because the projected cap and the actual cap are pretty fucking wide apart. There's definitely a lot more buzz this than any I can remember of recent.

This offseason is definitely crazier than I can ever remember. We're seeing a lot more core players switching team like Welker, Boldin, Revis, Harvin, Wallace, etc.. Tons of big names like Goldson, Ellerbee, Asomugha, Woodson, Reed too.

The best part is that Brady supposedly let them restructure his contract specifically in a way to leave room for Welker. Lulz.

Anyways, I read somewhere that Belichicks new idea is a 4 TE offense and he doesn't even need Welker anymore

far more likely to see 20 million+ in receiver FAs come in given all the cap space. However, Ballard should be healthy next season so as is for tight ends:

Ballard is not the dynamic receiver Gronk or Hernandez are. Ballard is slow as fuck, and I can only imagine him being slower after tearing his knee.

He is a good WR but when it comes to the Eagles/Redskins/Giants I hope they lose every good player and are forced to pick up bums off the street.
