Yeah, was just pointing out that Araysar had a point that it's easier for the Patriots to make the playoffs in their division than it is for Chicago to in theirs. Bears were a solid team last year (with flaws obviously), just so happened they didn't have the tiebreaker edge. Is what it is.

It would hold more water if the Pats were routinely dismantled by other teams in the AFC or otherwise. However we've seen the best of the rest of the league struggle with them pretty regularly. If they didn't deserve it, they would eventually get exposed by their strength of schedule after going deep into the post season year after year. Look at the divisions Peyton has had to contend with, but no one is marking an asterisk next to him over it. The fucking Vikings aren't even that good and they beat out Chicago for the wild card. Coming from the AFC north, its hard to give a fuck about someone crying that the division is too tough.

The Pats don't have to be a weaker team for it to be true that Miami, Buffalo, and the Jets have been mediocre at best the last 2 years. I didn't think the Vikings were as good as their record either, but I don't think the Lions were as bad as theirs was. I think the AFC North is losing it's ability to make that claim starting this past season. Pitt is trending down, it's a two team race now (Cincy and retooled Ravens).

Don't get all salty Famm, it was a simple point...my opinion that if a division consisted of Chicago, Miami, the Jets, and Buffalo that the Bears would easily be the best team in it (2012 versions).
Edit: And yes, we'd lose out on watching if Cutler would take himself out of any more playoff games any time he took a big hit.

Didn't get that title, I hate you. Anyway, I'm happy with the Bears Off season so far but not sure if I'm optimistic or not at their playoff chances next year. God I hate this, once the NCAA tourney is completed sports are pretty much dead until Hockey playoffs start.

Definitely one of the only achievements I actually gave a shit about when I completed it before I quit.
Vim at least the hockey playoffs last a whole 2 months to bridge towards training camps (for those of us that don't give a shit about the baseball regular season)

Famm i've heard rumor that because of some scheduling issues with the orioles (as if the Ravens play in Camden? this is where I'm lost) that the Ravens might go on the road to NE for the season opener on thurs night.
