Which is why the kid is having therapy and wanted to commit suicide. Who gives a fuck if hes 310 lb, hes still a young 20 something very young adult. I know everyone are not as badass as internet warriors and all, but hazing doesn't include the kinds of shit RI was doing. If Dolphins coaches had a hand in this stuff, fire all of them.

Incognito is and always will be a gigantic piece of shit, who cares how big Martin is not everyone is born into the body that fits their personality for example we have a term for someone like Martin, gentle giants. Hazing has its place and has its merits, I forget who it was I think it was Greenway of the Vikings who said the extent of the hazing for him was donut runs, coffee runs, low man on the totem pole chores. To me that is fine, carrying the shoulder pads is fine to, I used to think it was ok for them to make rookies pay for stuff (before the new CBA and rookie pay wage scale) because fuck they got paid way to much for never having done jack and a lot of them made off with fat cash for not having earned a god damn cent, however that is completely different now.

I think it's a good time for the NFL to put a limit on what can and can't be done and hold a debate about what is good for the sport and good for the teams and what is bad. All that being said, the shit Incognito did was not acceptable, at all. I'm with Genjiro, fire all of them.

Wow, thanks for linking finheaven and reminding me why I avoid that cespool. It's pretty obvious Incognito was completely out of line, and if you don't see that, there's something seriously fucked in your head. You need counseling.

I'm sure he needs the therapy. I seriously doubt that a dude saying mean things to him in the locker room is the reason for it. I'm not saying Incognito isn't a dick. Obviously he is, but he's been in the league 6 years or something so he's seen a lot of rookies and no one else has killed themselves. Football is a game of alpha males basically trying to bully each other on the field. No one has said that Incognito laid a hand on anyone or did anything other than run his mouth so what's the big deal? A grown man shouldn't need to go to therapy because some dude made fun of him.

Interestingly I was listening to the Adam Carolla show yesterday and one of the guys that works on the show actually assistant coached at Martin's high school a couple years before Martin got there. It was a private school and he described the whole football team as pussified. He said that the kids were allowed to skip practice if they had to study for a test or something and the coaches weren't allowed to swear on the field and he thought at the time that it was good that none of the kids he had were good enough to play in college because they would be in for a big surprise if they got into a real football program.

I think Incognito is gay. His growing frustration over being repressed by his familial situation has made it impossible for him to confront his own sexuality, and his only method of dealing with it is bullying people he perceives as being weak.

I find it sickening that kids today go to schools that value academics over sports.
