Gotta lol at that NFL schedule. No surprise the Thanksgiving game is a Manning vs. Brady matchup. Inc ratings powerhouse.

That's like 2 Romo fumblerooskis away from being probable.

If it weren't for Mark Sanchez, I don't see how Romo isn't top doofus.

I've been avoiding reading much on Aaron Hernandez, partly because I wanted all the 'facts' before judging him, and partly because of his freaky ass hairline. That shit creeps me out.

Anyway, I just read a summation of the Rolling Stone article. Jesus, that kid is fucked. I actually feel sorry for him.

Why? He's a piece of shit and needs to be treated as such.

I think thats kinda deceptive. Take Bills and Jets for example. 6-10 teams last season, this season they'll be lucky to collect 6 wins between the both of them and Patriots get to play them 4 times. It goes for some others on the schedule too.

Looking at Broncos and Patriots schedules, there are only about 3 games each of them are in danger of losing, every thing else is cakewalk.

Don't misunderstand me, I think if he's guilty of all this mess, he's got to be responsible for his actions and do the time.

But to have your Dad die, and have your Mom's boyfriend/drug dealer move in during formative years will fuck you up. And as a human, relating to another human, I feel sorry for him.

Remember Aaron Curry, the dude who was the safest pick in the draft a few years back? Looks like he got cut again and then retired. Nice to suck that much and still get 35m in guaranteed money.

Meh, I'm not quite so optimistic. Sure, they've got the Bills, Jets, Buccs and Browns on the schedule. They've also got the Falcons, Bengals, Saints, Dolphins, Steelers, Broncos, Texans, and Ravens. Predicting a 13-3 season with the worst secondary in the league and a brand new receiving corps seems a bit premature.

You're right though, the AFC East is weak. They don't need to win 13 games, they just need to win one more than Miami. 10-6 should do it.

And despite the fact that he is still in the league I am still way glad the Seahawks took Curry over Buttfumble

That draft was pretty terrible though. Only 7 players from first round of the '09 draft have made pro bowls. Compare that to the '10 draft, which has 14 probowlers and that doesn't even include Haden and Dez, two of the best players from that draft.

Andre Smith is one of the top RT's in the league. I have no idea why no one was willing to pay him this year.

Exactly. Every team always wins the games they're supposed to and every team is just as good/bad as the year before.

Oh Lee Shit.

Right around $170k per player. Does not seem like much in regards to a lifetime of care post career.

Edit: Wonder how this also works the retirement stuff that they bartered towards in the last CBA

Does anyone know how many years you have to be in the league to draw a lifetime pension? Couldnt find too much on it on the intarwebz.

I like how Saints, Dolphins and Steelers are contenders all of a sudden.
