One of the many annoying things that has happened during our marriage...
I bought and older house that I could afford so it needed improvements which I work on quarterly. She bitches about needing a over head light in the living room for over a year. Meanwhile we used lamps etc to illuminate the room.
I decide it's time to tackle that project so I go buy the fixture, climb into the attic, wire in the fixture, and hang said fixture. I was ahead of the game on this on so I installed switches at both entrances of the room with dimmer switches thinking she would bitch that it's too bright.
To this day she never turns it on and still uses the lamps on our end tables. Why you may ask? Because the overhead light is too much light and she just wants a little bit.

My wife is beautiful, funny, fantastically brilliant, career driven, and a hard worker.
