Well, I thought the first teaser to Guardians seemed meh too...and I was totally wrong. So, willing to stay cautiously optimistic, but going to have to agree--that seemed DC levels of not interesting.

I just hope most of that goes down in the first 10 minutes. The origin story really isn't necessary. I want to drop in on these guys already being awesome just once. Like Vincent and Jules in Pulp Fiction, we just see them doing their thing and make plenty of safe assumptions about who they are and what they're doing. We spend our time being entertained by their antics, not learning how they became henchmen. They don't even talk about the job. They just do it while bullshitting.

Doesn't look like much of anything. Can't get much of a sense for the tone of the movie from that, I'd wager the next trailer/teaser thing will focus more on the humor.

If you take out the first 1 min 18 seconds of the Joker talking over clips of people walking you might have an ok teaser.

Yeah, the trailer doesn't really do much either way in terms of showing how the movie will be. Much like what was said earlier by someone else, I also was pretty "meh" after the first Guardians teaser too so I'll wait and give this time.

Plus Marvel has done nothing to warrent me questioning how they do this.

I don't know shit about antman and after that trailer I still don't. I'll watch it cause Marvel and I'd rather go in not knowing anything then how some trailers are and show you the whole fucking movie.

For a movie about superpower that involves shrinking down and riding insects around and with Paul Rudd as the lead, I really didn't expect the trailer to be so serious. Even The Winter Soldier had more jokes in its trailer.

Felt kinda like Green Lantern - which I liked - but understand why many didn't.

Look forward to seeing more. More excited that it's new Marvel stuff more than anything.
