Not sure what you mean by shoehorn but I'm pretty sure baldurs gate 1 and ultima had gay romance options. What was the first major game to shoe horn in the whole gay romance options? Mass effect? Dragon Age 1?
Don't think this was true until Beamdog came alongbaldurs gate 1
Yeah maybe. Unless you count what you can do with the trans girdle.Don't think this was true until Beamdog came along
What exactly can you do with the girdle of dick-chopping aside from have whichever character you've started a relationship with ignore the change and continue to act as if you were still the opposite sex?Yeah maybe. Unless you count what you can do with the trans girdle.

Isn't this exactly what I just said? However, the companion in question will still refer to the protagonist as whichever sex they officially can romance (i.e. Anomen will always think the protagonist is a woman, even if they are male).
It would be wise to expect very little from that title.I wonder what madness Ghost of Yotei will bring. its gone cold since
Literally flying off the shelves, they can't keep them in stock! Bet you wish you pre-ordered now!
I have gay friends and whenever I visit their houses they are spectacularly decorated in a very conservative non gay style. I dont see gay innuendos or dick sculptured into the legs of tabletop. hell I never see them kissing infront of me and friends ever, maybe just hold hands.
So who are they targeting with all this crap, I hope Dave Chappelle catches on and make a skit out of veilguard and this crap.
We see project after project fail because development started when the culture was in a different place, and now stands out as a remnant of a different time. We have thrown off the Woke yoke and these lingering virtue signal projects are stark reminders of what they were forcing on us.
Uhhhh, what? How are you always this comically out of touch with reality. This is probably a good synopsis of what we're seeing. Residually coasting on things that were already in development and will flop. Snow White is the other big one. I guess media trails behind culture by 6-12 months. Though from my perspective the culture was already over identity politics many years ago and just kept getting dragged along with it by media. I guess hoping we'd all "fall in" and get used to it or whatever. Well, hopefully we can all get a break now, which ironically would actually help race/cultural relations a lot more than what they've been doing.
No they didn't all exist. This is ignoring the giant epidemic of child grooming. Not just increases in child abuse due to social validation about predation on "willing partners" but also the mass media campaigns, proliferation of "affirming" sexual education and just the perverse concept of sexual education in general. Everything has been increasing the rate at which young people are sexualized and exposed to degenerate lifestyles. Interesting to note that the entire modern purpose of sex Ed is to end teen pregnancy. Abstinence stopped being taught, so they moved to birth control (massive hormone injection) and also guess what allows you to become "safely" (from pregnancy) sexually active and has a ton of social pressure to conform? Oh that's right sodomy. There's probably a big difference between what Vance called the "normal gay guy vote" (lol) and the all-in, queer, pride vote. The latter is who they're directing things at. It's a spectrum, if you will, and they reinforce stereotypes by going after one end of it.
I grew up in one of the gayer towns in the country and knew a lot of gay folk growing up, mainly lesbians. I met my first trans (M attempting to be F) person in like 2005, way before that was on the national radar (he joined the friend group, then proceeded to freak out all of my friends with his weird behavior / aggressiveness so they stopped hanging out with him fairly quickly, despite them all being super progressive). We all called him "she" and it was no problem, it was whatever, just trying to be nice. The reason people noped out was because of how he acted and came off as unstable.
There is a pretty huge spectrum of bein' gay, and most of the lesbians and so forth that I knew growing up were just normal people who just spoke/acted more like the opposite gender. After a while I didn't even bat an eye at it. I don't recall ever seeing anyone dressed like a clown or screaming at people for genociding them or whatever. Hell, I knew tons of Bush voters and nobody batted an eye at them either, even though 80% of the town was against the war. Nobody ever screamed at anybody.
...I don't know what my point in all of this is, except that 20 years ago the same groups of people existed and everyone got along fine
