The director should troll all the batman fans by having multiple scenes where superman rips off batman's head then soccer punts it into orbit, melts him into slag with heat vision, drops an oil tanker on Wayne manor, etc.. but then he flashes back and is like "but I'm not going to do that. I believe in you, Bruce." and have those scenes be ultra violent to show what Supes "could" do.

It doesn't take much to push a PG-13 rated action movie to R. Early Avengers cuts were rated R because they showed a little too much blood when Coulson was stabbed. Don't expect some kind of murderous Superman popping heads off, more likely there was a little to much blood splatter when Batman punched 1 guy.

I like the way you think. You could have one where Superman just stands there and allows Batman to use all of his useless gadgets on him, then Supes just Bruce Lee punches him in the chest from an inch away and Batman winds up crashing into Pluto.

You can get away with a shit load of gore in rated R, just look at every horror movie.

Watched a terrible one last night called Midnight Meat Train, and it had was worse shit then Deadpool.
