The only saving grace there was to having Ministeroflust Ministeroflust fouling up the misc all those years is that all of the time he spent wasting crying about Donald Trump on the misc was a lot of time that he was spending doing something other than stalking Roblox and shit like that. I'd seriously hate to see that man's internet history since he hasn't had the misc to devote all that time to in the past month.

How did they lie a few days before pulling the plug? Did anything official come out with them saying they were going to fix the forum? Because if so, I missed it. What I do recall is the forum being broken down for 3 weeks (a ridiculous amount of time for a site function that was going to be anything other than scrapped), and the tabs to the forums from the site's main pages were removed a few days before the official plug pulling. If them removing that forums tab didn't tip you off as to what was happening after the second major weeks-long shut down in less than half a year, then I'm not sure what would have aside from an official announcement.

Besides, we all knew that was as much warning as we were ever going to get. Even back before Ryan DeLuca stepped down, people openly joked on the misc about how misc would just be deleted without any warning one day as the way it all ended. What we ended up with was close to a month of very obvious signs that they were scrapping it and no official warning, so that was still a lot more than many of us ever thought they'd give us before yanking it.

Yeah idk how to embed Imgur on this site but it’s a screenshot from their instagram on 9/12 responding to a comment about the forums. BB.com said “our engineering team is looking into it.” They also emailed chalup on 9/19 something along the lines of “we will let you know as soon as the forums are back up.” Of course the next day it was R.I.P.

Those are stock CS answers; it's not like they would ever say, we are getting ready to pull the plug. IIRC, they put up some "we are heading in a new direction with our engagement to the community" message as well but let's be cereal, if they were making money off of the forum it would have been fixed....

you can also click on insert img then url and it should find the appropriate tag/code that works of course places like imgur likes to break it, so theres that

I've been in the Eastern Sierra's since late last week for a wedding. No cell reception, what did I miss? The misc is officially done?

Whose wedding?

Yes, bb.com pulled the plug on the misc.

There is a miscreformed.forumotion.com where most of the boyos have landed.

They are just getting their feet under them but it is more classic misc than here. Hopefully they are able to make it but for myself I'm going stick around here.

Long time buddy of mine. Went K-12 with him and still keep in touch/have lunch/dinner regularly. Just a good dude.

I like it here but I'll have to check out miscreformed.
