With Hart as Roland they may just be leaning more into the comedic side of Borderlands.

Ehhh maybe Reynolds but they both play themselves these days. Leaning towards Hugh Laurie, or Neil Patrick Harris or hell whynot Nathan Fillion to keep with everyone being old.
No wait, Steven Ogg.
Go really crazy and Tom Cruise, Kevin Costner as Mord.

As much as I like Jack Black why can't they just have the guy who voices Claptrap do, you know, the voice.

For anyone who has played the game it's going to be uber jarring listen to another Claptrap, he's your constant companion throughout.

This is not going to be something that appeals to people that haven't played the game nor is it going to be faithful enough for fans.

The last borderlands was annoying as fuck. Characters were annoying as fuck. Calling the commentary annoying as fuck is an understatement. Hollywood nowadays is 80% annoying as fuck characters and scripts and they also suck at making decent video game movies. This movie is going to suck.
