Notice that there is no sex appeal to this movie at all. Everyone is either too old or too young for the coveted 18-40 year old male audience.

Really trying hard to *not* make a good shoot-em-up movie.

She has aged well. She may be gorgeous for her age, but there are a hundred 30-45 year old actresses that are 9-10 that would be just as good in a brainless shooting comedy. She isn't winning an Oscar for Borderlands.

Edit: also, Jamie Lee Curtis playing a canonical Tanis is going to come off like a hag. Why is she so old in this version?

Seriously. I like Blanchett too, but she's a terrible miscast here.

Hey, remember that time when Maya freezes a bunch of bandits and then Lilith combo gibs them? Then they fist bump while thousands of pieces of gore and limbs and viscera rain down around them.

I hope they recreate that scene. Gotta stay true to the source material. Eli Roth is still directing, right?

uncharted did surprisingly well and for some reason people still pop up demanding sequel
