I don't see what is so crazy about using the target to indicate who might be behind it. Clearly if it was an abortion clinic we would have strong suspicions who it was. If it was a federal building, that might point towards a different crowd. From this target, its hard to see how picking the Boston Marathon has any political significance other than "will kill lots of people and get press" which points to possibly a different crowd.

Tax day, Newtown victims in crowd (Newtown being catalyst for gun control attempts), historic city where the tea party happened. Lots of political significance that you can contribute to a certain type of attacker with specific motivations. Of course we don't know but to say there's no potential politics involved is asinine.

I didn't say I know everything about this attack. It could be a violent religious group who believe runners all go to hell, or another group for reasons I don't know about yet. Or simply a madman. But chances for that are in my opinion lower since we actually have a rather prolific group of terrorists already who specialize in attacks very similar to this one. Occam's razor.

It's all speculative anyway. We have an illuminati believer on this forum. He could be right too.

This attack likely took months to plan.

This could very well have been intended to send former Massachusetts Governor, President Romney a message and individual/individuals just decided to keep going even after he lost the election.
