Gender plowing just sounds like an attention grabbing headline, it's really just plowing more bike/walk paths so non drivers can get around easier and I don't know the numbers but I assume bike commuting is pretty big there like most european cities.

Because that isn't the point.

The reason it was always done that way in the past is because the workers HAVE to leave the house, the "women and children" did not. The men go to work before anyone else so that needs to be done first. These are all practicalities and not sexist.

To say they are sexist practices and need to change is a load of rubbish designed to emasculate men for he sake of bullying and amusement.

Pretty sure most construction stops during blizzards, but people still need to go to the hospital, including men who might be injured while removing snow. There's always a huge number of heart attacks/strokes during blizzards because both workers and homeowners overexert themselves.

This is just practical, like you said. Female nurses still have to get to the hospitals, and they need to get their kids dropped off before they can go to work.
