You didn't provide shit. You posted some garbage about someone else's art project that had absolutely nothing to do with what we were discussing. If I was wrong I would gladly admit it, thankfully you are never going to be right. You made a grandiose and objectively false claim about how rape victims react to being raped. I showed you evidence of this. Unless you have anything else to add, take being wrong like a man.
Living proof that rape culture does, in fact, exist here.
You act as though people not actually understanding what constitutes rape is a rare thing. In fact, it's very common. I would think you of all people would know this.
Edit: Props to Haast for being reasonable.
when you're goneDid you watch Pulp Fiction? Was Marcellus unsure if he had been raped? Did he need 6 months to figure it out?
Check again. Here are multiple rape victims who behaved exactly like Sulkowicz did. Therefore, your claim that was not behaving like a rape victim was false. It really is that simple. You didn't provide shit. You posted some garbage about someone else's art project that had absolutely nothing to do with what we were discussing. If I was wrong I would gladly admit it, thankfully you are never going to be right.
Even by your claim she tried to trap people into "metaphorically raping" her, but then claim that doesn't support her making a false rape accusation? LoL. Hint: Metaphorical rape isn't actual rape and the fact she thinks it is, is damn good evidence that she is making up yet another accusation of rape.By claiming she made a "porn" video, you're forcing her into the role of someone having sex for your pleasure (that's what "porn" is), and you're forcing her into that role against her will, so according to her you're metaphorically "raping" her. You may not understand or care about the message behind her piece, but it is in no way, shape, or form evidence that she was making false rape accusations
Why students don?t understand what counts as rapeSo how exactly would someone not know they had been raped at first? Unless they were drugged beyond sensibility, they would know that they didn't consent to what was happening. Emma claims she was choked and forcibly sodomized. How is there any confusion about that?
Did you watch Pulp Fiction? Was Marcellus unsure if he had been raped? Did he need 6 months to figure it out?
So to start with, even the men don't know what rape is. That's encouraging. But a recent report by Professor Sarah Edwards published in Violence and Gender discovered that roughly a third of male university students would rape a woman if there were no consequences ? though most didn?t recognise that these actions were, in fact, rape.
The research found that 31.7 per cent of participants would have sexual intercourse with a woman against her will ?if nobody would ever know and there wouldn?t be any consequences?.
Of course, sex against someone?s will is a drawn-out way of saying ?rape?, but far fewer men said they would behave the same way when the r-word was used. When asked if they would rape a woman if there were no consequences, 13.6 per cent of men surveyed said they would do so ? still shockingly high, but far less who said they?d consider rape by a different name.
It's pretty apparent you fucking don't.even the men don't know what rape is.
I thought I had copied it as I read it. Guess I made a mistake.Why/how did you get Sulkowicz's name exactly correct, but typed "Nangussen" instead of Nungesser?
It's a lot more evidence than Chanur's feels-based assessment that Sulkowicz was not acting like a rape victim, you tool.Haha, that evidence! Tanoomba gonna Tanoomba.
How do you figure? It's pretty apparent you fucking don't.
Soooo.... just not going to answer the question, faggot? Why students don't understand what counts as rape
So to start with, even the men don't know what rape is. That's encouraging.
The article goes on to say how literal sexual assault (groping without consent) is commonplace enough that those being groped don't want to act on it. It's been normalized. Is it really that hard to grasp how, after a night that started consensual then got out of hand and ended in a rape, the rape victim might have doubts?
You're acting as though your perspective (a perspective based on the intentional exclusion of information that contradicts it) is literally the only way to look at this. It's absolutely preposterous.
That wounds me. Especially coming from you.you clearly have no clue what you're talking about
