It was cool to see the Han Solo version of the Incredible Hulk, but that’s about it. It’s free everywhere btw, an ok watch at that price.

Hard pass.
I can’t even be bothered to pirate post endgame shit or watch if it’s on channel on twitch. I just don’t care, I mean it’s fun watching it crash and burn because I’ll always be an asshole but I have no interest in watching any of it.

Yup. It's still a win for them if you put any effort into consuming their shit. They chose to go woke. Going broke is part of it, but destroying their legacy and future as well is equally important so that they can never pull this shit again.

My brother just got back from a disney cruise. Watched this on the cruise and said it was 'average'. He took a lot of pics and looking at them all I kept thinking was all disney did with the Marvel purchase was whore all the franchises out for their parks/ships. It's sad actually.

I 'found' a good copy , I'll check it out in the morning.

Funny you should mention going broke for the sake of woke
On these here forums I have seen people rail against Disney, Bud light, Target and others, but have not heard a peep about a Costco Boycott or even blow back against them for not only having a DEI program but doubling down and rejecting any efforts to expunge it from their corporate structure.

Just find it funny the picking and choosing of who gets the "go broke" treatment.

Oh and to keep this post on topic

Costco isn't everywhere. In some cases there's 1 in an entire state or none at all. It's also really easy to boycott a company that has a $100 membership you never bought in the first place.

Even nogger tech doesn't give him strength to hold his ground. It would say "absorb energy", but he would still get punted like a soccer ball. It's the dumbest shit explanation.
Not to defend this movie that I haven't watched, but the shield itself absorbs all vibrations/inertia/kinetic energy/whatever. Like way back when Thor and Iron Man fought in the first Avengers and Captain America stepped in and took the hammer blow from Thor and didn't get atomized. Any time Cap has ever been knocked backwards while blocking with the shield is just lazy writing. The shield has always been like that in the comics, otherwise yeah he'd be a pile of jelly the first time anyone like Thor or Hulk punched him.

It's not possible to absorb the weight of something coming at you at a high rate of speed if your weight is miniscule. Captain Black weighs maybe 210-230? Hulk weighs about 800 to 1000 pounds? If a thousand pounds drops on you at hundreds of miles an hour, a shield can negate damage based on its properties, but it's not going to hold the weight. If it could do that then it wouldnt need Captain Black at all. Steve Rogers is a super soldier and has tremendous strength. So he can block damage with a shield and hold a hulk back.

Comic books, bro. I didn't say it made sense. That's just the definition of what Vibranium is. It absorbs...vibrations. If the Hulk grabbed it and pushed him back, he'd slide. But punching it, totally absorbed. You'll give yourself a stroke if you try to rationalize it.

Maybe that's because Costco still manages to offer a quality product in the form of an above average retail shopping experience. In my area at least, the stores are clean with wide aisles, are well organized, and maintain a super friendly staff that actually goes out of its way to quickly shuffle cashiers to where they're needed when the checkout lines get congested. They also don't make it a point to virtue signal at every opportunity, at least not in their stores. As much as I loathe most in-person shopping, Costco is definitely one of the most tolerable places to visit.

If Disney and the rest managed to put out consistently good products without loudly screeching about how amazingly inclusive they are, no one in the general public beyond a small gaggle of unfuckable internet mutants would give a shit about their hiring practices.

Takes a very special kind of stupid to bitch about vibranium/caps shield doing things that they've already done before in the MCU.

The comics are retarded. A shield or a really spiffy suit isn't going to give you the strength of a hundred men. Not with out some massive Gundam exoskeleton. Iron man's Hulk buster suit or Batman and his Superman armor worked temporarily. But some form fitting costume and a shield made out of the same material isn't going to do anything except get bounced around by a massively strong opponent. I'm not going to let this go. We allow Black Widow to knock out 250 pound goons in one kick, because she's super hot in her skin tight catsuit and we like to see her in action. But dudes gotta make it at least feasible.

Nope, I know what I'm saying. Vibranium isn't a replacement for brute strength
Yes it literally is you fucking retard. If it wasn't then Thor would have reduced Cap to a cloud of fine red mist all the way back in the first Avengers movie.

It's a comic book. You need to keep that in mind. Nothing relating to momentum or inertia or physics ever matters in a comic book.

Let's take Wolverine instead. Sure, his skeleton can stand up to the Hulk, but he would still get flung miles into the distance after one punch. And oh yeah, all of his skin and organs would stay there (liquified, probably) while his skeleton was flying away. Then you gotta question which one regenerates, the skeleton with scraps on it, or the sack of organs with no adamantium?
